I believe you mean the redstone shulker? It relies on the shulker having some of the supplies in it so the hoppers only feed what’s needed. He has several of those lined up to feed into the shulker. How the system precisely works I’ll have to figure out though. Perhaps a future video if I can manage to recreate it. :)

For his mobile storage that he keeps in his enderchest, he wants to have some of everything with him. So, each shulker is fed by 5 hoppers which each have their own doublechest. The hoppers each have 5 slots for a total of 25, meaning 2 of the shulker box slots have to be duplicates of common items or have space fillers. It is not a smart system. To keep one item from taking up too many spaces, you have to always leave at least one in the shulker to save the spot. The season 9 download can give you the best idea of how he organizes it, but iirc it is not completely set up, because the hoppers require enough stacks in the chests so that they never lose their slot either. I'm sure that he talks about it for a little bit in one of the earlier season 9 episodes too. edit: The ones in the ceiling are duplicates. If the one in his enderchest starts getting low, he can just swap it with the one in the ceiling so it will refill all the partial stacks. Also, the organization of those chests is very similar (probably the same) as for the shulker swapper manual bulk storage.

This specific tutorial is for Java players, but if you scroll down in the comments some people explain how they have got it to work on Bedrock.

In the meantime, I just changed that dropper to a hopper into the barrel and it works like that. I'd prefer to use a dropper though if possible.

It would be hard to see what needs changing without reference material, could you slice down your machine in layers and share some IMGURS of them here?

Do you play on Java? Did you make sure you got all the timings on the repeaters correct and that observers are facing the correct way?

@@headmasterbruce I figured it out. Had to add another redstone dust and repeater to activate the lower sticky piston. Also add another shulker box to the top dropper

think I have it working... at 0:25 remove the repeater and the block under it and replace with 1 redstone dust to power the piston and at 1:37 after placing the sticky piston bridge down with solid blocks with dust on to connect the redstone where the piston snips the line. EDIT: also add a second repeater at 1 tick going into the 4 tick repeater.

@@headmasterbruce chears dude, for anyone else doing this on bedrock I ended upneeding an 8tick delay into the piston with the observer on and a 7 tick delay into the shulker despencer, will keep tweeking it let me know if any of you find beter timings, happy redstoning to you all.

@@noughtypixy I just worked it out myself on my Bedrock Realm as well, I didn't have trouble with the Shulker breaking piston cutting off the redstone under it, only part I had to modify was the repeater in the center had to be dropped down 1 block and then set to 4 ticks, then a line next to it (under the dropper chain) with a repeater on 1 tick, that gave it enough observer clock ticks to fully move the shulkers through to the barrel.
