I don't know how much of this was intended, but I love how the song's lyrics seems to be made of broken bits and pieces of the girls' names (Nina Kosaka, Millie Parfait, Enna Alouette, Reimu Endou) which all come together at the end to make sense with "Ethyria." For reference: 0:09 fe, na, rei, tou 0:14 (a)ko, mi 0:18 touou 0:22 pah 0:39 pahfee 0:49 ue 2:19 reiahu ena 2:40 kami shahu (God Sees All?) Also, in case you were wondering, the phenomenon in which people utter words without any specific meaning (often thought to have spiritual or supernatural connotations) is called "glossolalia."

The added element of NieR based vocals where it ads a lot of human emotion while your brain gets tricked into thinking they aren't vocals is just perfect! If this was played during a movie, cutscene or a boss fight, etc. you wouldn't get distracted since your brain gets tricked, but you would 100% feel more emotions than without the vocals! Absolutely beautiful!

Despite being one of the wildest gens out there, Ethyria thematically has this inherent tragedy and somberness in their design. It's beautiful but in a sad, transient way. Like the cyclic rings of sprouting, blooming and then loss. Millie's original 'rinne' also has these themes in it, albeit more obvious and explicit. It's amazing Enna can come up with this. Not many can pull off a self-funded project of this nature.
