Etienne Steyn, and Afrikaans singer from South Africa, has been performing for a number of years, but only released his debut CD "Storie van my hart" through Aka Records in 2005. This album was also nominated for a 2006 SAMA award.

Someone needs to re-do the video with English subtitles. While I appreciate anything that might lead to a revival of the Afrikaaner spirit, someone needs to make this video available to the world in a common language - English. How does one say, "Rock on, dude" in Afrikaans? And to you expatriot Afrikaaners living somewhere else, stop your crying. Stand up and get in the fight. It's more noble to stand for something than to die on your knees. See you to it.
i don'r agree. I recall in teh 60s South Africans would slip in and out of English and Afrikaans then back to English a very nornal way of talking then...
