Presenter Hey, everybody. How's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Air Lift WirelessOne air compressor system here on a 2022 Ford F-250. So an air compressor system is a great way to take full advantage of your air helper springs. Whether you have ones from Firestone or Air Lift, it is compatible with both. Now, what this does is it allows you to take full advantage of your air helper springs because we can easily adjust them on the fly. So normally, we're gonna require access to an external air compressor, and that's probably fine if you're only towing on the weekends, a couple times out of the month.
It's really not a big deal, especially if you have an air compressor in your garage. But if you're one of those people who tows a couple times a week and frequently has different trailers, you're definitely gonna see benefits from adding an onboard air compressor system. So this is actually a wireless air compressor system. And what that refers to is, is there's not gonna be any air lines running from the controller to the air compressor. So everything is actually gonna be controlled here with this little remote that gets stored inside the vehicle, or we can simply download an app in your phone.
So the problem with those older style systems that aren't wireless is we usually have to mount these large, bulky gauges inside our vehicle. Those are the manual inflation valves, and this requires running air lines inside the cab, outside the vehicle, increasing chances for our leaks. And also, there's really not a lot of space on these newer trucks here to mount those bulky gauges, and they do also require drilling into the dash. So the sleek profile of this wireless controller really makes this system stand out. So our wireless controller is very easy to use.
I also find the app easy to use as well, if you prefer that. But this is something we can always have in the vehicle with us. We don't have to worry about it going dead. So what we need to do is we just need to hit any button. That's gonna wake it up.
Just gonna give it a second to load here. And then, it's gonna display our current air pressure in the air bags, which is gonna be five psi. We have to keep five psi in the air bags at all times 'cause that's gonna ensure that they don't have any deformities. So just keep that in mind. But we will still have a factory ride with that five psi. But when we hook up to our trailer, we can easily increase the pressure with these arrows at the top and bottom. And once we let go of the arrow, we should hear our compressor kick on and it's gonna inflate both air bags to that psi we just selected. And then, when we're done towing for the day, we just hit the down arrow, go all the way down to five, and it should release the pressure from the system. So something else you're really gonna like about this controller is if you have multiple trailers. And the reason for this is we actually have three different presets. Now, what I mean by a preset is, let's say we have a travel trailer that we know what psi we like for our trucks to get the best quality, we can go ahead and set that. And then, we can store it into the system by just simply holding one of these buttons here. And then, it's gonna let us know that, that preset was equipped to this first setting. So we have three different presets. This is preset one, this is preset two, and then preset three is just holding both of these together. So if we have three different trailers that we know the psi we like to have them at, all we need to do is get in our truck and just hit one of those presets, depending on which trailer they are, and then it's gonna inflate our system to the pressure that we need for that particular trailer. So in regards to installation, I would really go so far to say as this is one of the easiest compressor systems to install on the market. And the reason for that is they've taken everything in the kit, the compressor, the manifold, and they put it on one bracket that we conveniently mount on the vehicle. Now, we do have to drill a couple holes, but aside from that, there's relatively not that many modifications that we need to make. This is really a great system.
