@@etrailer Just a basic 1-axle landscape trailer for hauling debris to the landfill and picking things up at home improvement store. Tired of paying for Sheetrock and concrete delivery charges.
How did you run the flat plug down under the car, none of the grommets are big enough and I’d imagine drilling isn’t an option because then my grommet won’t fit

It is not recommended to run the power wire to the 12V outlet in the trunk area. The reason for this is that you could easily overload the factory fuse for that outlet and blow it. This would cause you to lose all functioning of your trailer lights.
