You can see the tires moving under the straps. You putting around a parking lot does not demonstrate what happens on the road. If you had to make a real "hard brake" or make an aggressive move that SxS would be coming thru the back of your truck. My advice is to use these on all 4 corners at a minimum. There's better wheel straps out there that have more than one point of contact.
I have a similar set up but I anchor all four tires. Sometimes, getting to an off-road staging area, I have to do some off-roading with my tow vehicle and trailer. Sometimes, wearing a belt with suspenders is a sound decision.
Absolutely, good call! If you're traveling on anything other than fairly smooth pavement, using two of the # EM09160 kits is an excellent idea. www.etrailer.com/ATV-UTV-Tie-Downs/Erickson/EM09160.html
I have an enclosed trailer how would I load my side by side going in front or backing it in .If I drive in front ways is it OK to trap down the back tires.
You could certainly secure the rear tires if you wish. If you want to go that route, you'll just need two of the # EM09160 kits. www.etrailer.com/ATV-UTV-Tie-Downs/Erickson/EM09160.html
We recommend using 4 straps when tying down a machine like a quad or a SxS. This kit does not come with backing plate but can be found on our website separately. www.etrailer.com/ATV-UTV-Tie-Downs/Erickson/EM09160.html www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/etrailer/e46RR.html
On the install shown in the video, we used 5/16-18 x 3 grade 5 zinc plated carriage bolts, 5/16-18 nuts and lock washers. www.etrailer.com/ATV-UTV-Tie-Downs/Erickson/EM09160.html
