I love it! Cool units that have a unique look. Interesting mix of units too.

You even added the head hurlers which I’m excited to see displayed on the tube.

It is literally a 90-man legionary cohort mounted on medium horses. They have absolutely garbage stats when mounted but fight like normal on foot. It is a bit niche but can be a decent option allowing you mobility to use general's abilities where you need them early and then when you need more infantry power late you can dismount to grind it out.

Technically you are correct, or you could say they are the only Italians as they might be the first people of what is today Italy, but you are right they are not Indo-European like the rest of the Italic tribes. That said, the Etruscan League in Rome 2 and the one I am portraying in the mod was a last-ditch effort of the Etruscan city states to resist the Roman expansion, and while the core was Etruscan cities, they had all kinds of Italic tribes as Allies or full members of the League. Umbrians are the only ones I confirmed with quick googling and history book skimming, but the others aren't too much of a stretch except maybe Samnites. Also, even after inclusion into Roman sphere this version of the league maintained itself as a political and cultural entity and preserved Etruscan and some other Italic cultures for quite a while. Fanum Voltumnae kept meeting after being conquered and they according to some source offered seats beyond the traditional 12 to other peoples absorbed by Rome. This continued for many years until the Romans got sick of different customs like women's rights and different standards for treating slaves (Romans wanted none of that). Also, While Rome got its love of sports from the Etruscans the Patricians did not like how the Upper-class Etruscans behaved at them. Class divisions disappeared at Etruscan chariot races and boxing matches (their version a mix of wrestling and boxing) and only things like king would be separated from the rest. The crowd would be a mix of poor and rich people and women were allowed to attend and drink wine, NOT PROPER at all by Roman standards. So later, there was a lot of state sponsored cultural assimilation of no you not Etruscan you are Roman now type stuff.
