Really very useful!, just couldn't get a couple of things working out, the new delivery profile, I put the one for sweatshirts and discounted the tees, to compensate ;) and then the colors linked to the secondary one, I saw it wasn't working for you as well, so I guess, is not possible in this case, when having more than one product, thanks once again, very very useful :) Thanks so much!
Wow, thank you so much for this video! I have been looking for this and I could not find it anywhere. I was just speaking with an agent of Gelato about offering multiple products/ variations of a product in one listing and they told me that it wasn't possible, so glad I kept looking!

Excellent video, thank you for your content. I have a problem that I can't solve with the SKUs numbers synchronization. In the variation editor, the box "SKUs vary for each size" always remains unchecked when I save the listing as a draft. I update and check all the boxes, but only when I click on "save as draft" and come back to the listing, the SKU box is not checked... I can do this dozens of times, and it doesn't change a thing... Both my store and my listing are connected and synchronized, but the SKUs box remains unchecked, so the "SKU" column remains empty... If anyone has a clue, it's very frustrating. Thanks
Thanks, unfortunately you confirm we can't batch link product what is a huge pain in the ass! when you have 9 styles with 10 sizes. Take me the all day for 12 products !!! They need to add a system when you have a template on Etsy or even add an option to transform a product who is already linked with variants to become a template and in one click just change the picture!

Such an invaluable tutorial! Thank you very much for step by step explanation. I want to sell phone cases and can't figure out how to set up variations in this instance: customer chooses phone case model as variation/option 1 and then 1 out of 5 design/patterns as variation 2. So can imagine each design has to be somehow synced to phone case model? It feels like there should be easy way to do it but I just can't get my head around. Hi Jeff....for combo items in one listing, can you use different colours for each item? For example, hoodies, t-shirts and sweatshirts 3 different colours?
A very good tutorial and thank you for that. But how about the shipping? What exactly did you do there? I understood you copied one of the existing profiles but, with different products and different size/weights, what happened there. To be honest I was watching the video to understand the shipping of a combo and that was the only part that has not been explained. HI, I'm struggling to find a way to create a listing that is comprised of 3 prints that are a bundle, (such as a landscape print divided into 3 portrait prints) sold in 3 different sizes. I've been through both tutorials, one on combinations and the other on bundles but to no avail. if I try combinations gelato seems to think that all variants have been mapped, and I'm struggling to see how to create a bundle for the either. i know it can be done as I see listings on Etsy already that have this. Would this be any easier with mydesigns? Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you so much. I created a family reunion t-shirt in Gelato, and I have been having the HARDEST time connecting it to my Facebook and Instagram pages. I was told that I have to either through Etsy or Shopify to do it. I would really appreciate any advice?
In the Printify video you showed it's possible to add multiple products in the same variant manually, and I can't find a way to do it with Printful of Gelato, since Printify doesn't have the products I need. =( Help?
Does this still apply 2024 (May) as you can't save draft without adding price, I add price, leave skus open,save as draft, do as mentioned you mention, says connected but sku do not transfer across to etsy store. Contacted gelato but not resolved yet.
Hi! great vid, thanks! Question: I synced a product that I created in Gelato and it was active on Etsy, then I needed to deactivate it to make some changes. and now the sync with Gelato is gone. In the Gelato store it says "add product" but only gives options to select a new product from the catalog and not from my templates. How to connect a Gelato template to a Gelato store item that is unconnected to Etsy? any advice?
Hey man! Quick question, I followed every step, but on the article's page, the price showed to the customers (30€) is different from the one I actually insert on Gelato (25€), do you know the reason? I have a question, and you might have said it, but I missed it or maybe I didn't...when you make a combo listing, can you just keep duplicating it on the etsy side and the sku's stay the same as long as you keep the same color and sizes avaliable?
Do we have to do all the connections every time ? Or can we just copy/paste on Gelato, so all the sub categories are already sync ? Because honestly, 45 connections for all listings is going to be hell
Hello Jeff. I have been in chat with Gelato for two days now and cannot figure out how to do just a simple bundle for a 2 piece wall poster set in a single Etsy listing. These aren't "variations", just two separate posters, so is there a way to do this? You are LiTERALLY the only channel I can find on RU-vid that is even discussing the Etsy/Gelato bundle set up. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be working the same as yours with your variations. Not sure what I am missing.
Hey, does anyone have a Shopify store of yours and use gelato? I have a question. I would like to make a combo listing with gelato so that I can then select a picture with or without a frame in the shop as a user. Anyone have experience? won't let me save to drafts, says fix inventory. I did everything you did. message comes up top and bottom; Fill out all of the required fields correctly in order to preview or save. bottom one says To publish, fix: Inventory no idea. added 999 as you did. * added dollar in pricing section thats why it prevented me pressing draft.
The only other thing in the "Inventory" section I think would be the pricing - is it saying you need to enter prices to save it as a draft? If so that would be odd because I was able to save a draft without pricing. But if that's the problem, I would suggest using the select-all option and just enter $1 as the price for all variants because Gelato is going to override the prices anyway. Let me know if that wasn't the problem.
Hello! Is there any way to connect to existing Etsy listings with gelato (like you do with skus for Printify)? I have combo listings for prints, if I go to connect that product through gelato, would I have to select all the products and set all the prices each time (for each listing)? I also don't want it to override anything in the existing listing (I already have all my prices set). Any help would be awesome! Thanks!!
