I’m obsessed with the green escape. I order from them all the time❤ I love how you throw some shade in there. “ If you don’t like dirt you probably shouldn’t be watching plant videos”😂😂😂😂
So glad you had a much better experience this time! I know you don't like to post all the disappointment, but I always appreciate your honesty! Hope all of your next orders keep coming in great!
Thank you! Yeah that's a huge issue with the bad orders. Sucks in general to have a bad experience, but then I have to broadcast and make sure to be extra thorough with all the details of the order, communications etc. ... and it just makes me uncomfortable posting content that isn't uplifting.
I just saw an interesting plant called a blue oil fern.....some look real blue guess you'd have to see it in person. But it got my attention. Love your plant haul....and videos thanks jeff.
@@TropicalPlantParty glad you've seen the fern....we have been getting a few spring like days along with rainy days but no freezing for now...tree frogs are croaking occationally... .I planted sprouted potatoes in a raised 7' x 2' bed covered with composted 2 yr. old straw/ topped off with leaf compost to keep it airy.....and covered with plexiglass...I'll add more soil as they come up.... Also got a double row of Baker seeds....Lillian caseload Bush shell peas planted, and added some kale seeds along the row to grow up under the sunny side of peas...hopefully the kale will snuff out weeds and I can eat it......If it dries out I will mow grass...bag it and top dress pea seeds with an inch to keep them warmer as it decomposes...My early dark pink camellia is loaded with blooms. Its and old tree like now 15 ft....The deer like to eat them when they drop off. And I dont have to pick them up win win. Love your videos keep on growin.
Nice selection Jeff! I’ve seen some folks on PlantTube find the Apobollis in full six inch pots at Lowe’s, but they were on the East Coast, so you might not come across any in your area. Still worth taking a look if you have to shop for something else. Enjoy your weekend. 😺✌️
So many beautiful plants! The green escape has wonderful plants and is always a great shipper. Happy you had a better experience this time! Happy growing! 👏😍❤️
I love green escape! My FL ghost ended up melting after shipping but they were quick to give a refund and even offered to refund my epi marble even though it's doing much better. Great customer service! :)
I'd recommend you spraying down that calathea white fusion minimum twice a week. I'm a lover and collector of Prayer Plants HOWEVER that fusion is one beautiful devil 😤😅😅 GREAT HAUL💚
I have a Stella and white fusion. Stella does great. Fusion, not so much. 1/2 of the fusion has reverted. So 1/2 looks like misto. The fusion side is blooming, though. It's leggy looking. Stella has stayed compact, and the roots are flowing out the bottom. All my Calatheas are in self watering containers.
I feel like you're not really saving a lot buying the starter plants versus finding it in a larger size buuuuut, it does save space for a while and it is just fun watching them grow.
Nah, not at all. If you're buying trays at wholesale that's a different story. They're cheaper than larger plants for the most part, but sometimes they're more expensive. It's a toss up. For me it's just about availability.
I buy from Etsy shops all the time and the one thing I wish they’d all do is allow us to ship using anything except USPS! It’s very rare I have good experience with them.
Hi Jeff! Wow, what a difference in this plant shipment v. the last two! They do a great job, and the plants look so good. Al of the plants you received are so pretty. I've never tried growing begonias. Do they need a lot of humidity? I'm one of those people that won't get a humidifier, so if the plant/plans don't like the conditions in my house, they won't be invited back. ;-) I like peperomias, but cannot keep one alive, so I've given up on them, too. There are just some plants that don't like me. ;-( I forgot to mention in the last video that Walmart has some Costa Farms plants in self-watering pots. Thank you so much for sharing!
Oh, I may have to try the stella. My fusion is on its last legs. It rebounded outside over the summer but I dont think it will make it until late may when I can put it outside again.
Nice looking. Never thought of ordering plants through the mail. About the chlorines in the water, have you done any videos on that? I get a little obsessed about chemicals, I admit.
Oh no another beautiful plant , love peperomia’s . Maybe a terrarium with only peperomias ? I have to think that one through. I do have room for a couple of terrariums. ❄️🫠💚🙃
The green escape has been one of the best sellers on Etsy… but they recently upset me when they posted how they had to throw away a giant dumpsters worth of plants because they needed room for other plants that are in demand and it was so sad to see. I know it’s the business side of things but I didn’t need to see all those poor plant babies getting thrown away. 😭💔
Ps. They sent me a crytosperma by accident recently and they replaced it with the plant I was supposed to get. Anyway It’s doing great. I keep it in a cloche and always moist… when the weather warms up I’m going to be putting it into a container pond. It’s such a cool plant. I almost feel guilty for getting it free! 😂 that crystosperma variety you got is so cool, good luck!
What!? That's so wasteful! Have a massive clearance sale or a raffle for trays of plugs on their socials. There are so many other options there that could still make them money and or be good for acquiring new customers.
Just ordered a Dragon Skin peperomia and a Calathea Stella. I also ordered another peperomia so the Dragon Skin wouldn’t be lonely in the terrarium . I hope hubby is taking a nap when they’re delivered so I can just nestle them in to some other plants for awhile. He really doesn’t get mad, just maybe a little upset ? ❄️🫠💚🙃 I ordered the 4 inch pots so I wouldn’t have to pot them up right away. ❄️🫠💚🙃
I can’t remember which Etsy shop I have ordered from, they are out of Florida and they ship very nice starts. I’ll have to look and see if it’s the same place. But maybe not I might see some that I want and I really don’t have enough room for more plants. Well I do but not where I can keep an eye on them. It’s kinda like with me out of sight out of mind and when I do eventually remember them they’re dead because I forgot to water them. ☹️❄️🫠💚🙃
Been there! That's why I like to keep the bulk of mine together in the garage. Prior to that it was a scramble taking care of everything when they're spread all over the house.
