Love the video❤️ I just started my print-on-demand journey and found Crafted Threads. They have a ton of designs and it saved me so much time. They have something in every niche. And lifetime updates too!!
I asked Printify support about doing this method, and they said it will not be eligible for automatic fulfillment as orders will end up in other category, is it true, can you still get automatic fulfillment this way?
I recently listed my very first combo listing, offering four different shirt types, and boy, without this tutorial, I'd probably still be struggling! It saved me heaps of time and, most importantly, a ton of frustration. It made my life as an Etsy newbie seller so much easier. Thank you so much!
Great instruction. This is exactly what I wasted several hours yesterday on - trying to figure out how to set up multiples! You are a great teacher. Thank you so much.
How to manage when you combine different listings from different providers and shipping? For example, if the shipping costs are almost the same, do you choose any shipping profile of the two? Thank you~
Finally all my questions answered! 😮💨😮💨 I’ve seen so many channels, and this one was the only one straight to the point and without leaving out the important details. Thanks!!!
Thank you so so much for this tutorial! You are the only person i've found that had a great and complete step by step tutorial out there! Going to go back and binge some of your other videos. 😁
I was literally losing sleep about how a customer can add quantities to different variations so that they can order more than one product at a time for a "group/combo" listing. I have watched video after video thinking I was missing something..and FINALLY my question has been answered. I APPRECIATE YOU, THANK YOU!! 🙃😀
@@PODinsights Thank you sooooo much for the updated video. This helped alot. Do you have a video for setting up a shipping profile? I would like to add free shipping to mine. Especially when it comes to bulk orders.
Hi, as others have said, thank you so much this is worth it's weight in GOLD. I don't think it would be possible to work this out without your video. It's crazy difficult. I do have one question: for context I would like to offer more than two colours. Perhaps though, not all the time. I am wondering if, let's say if I was to just offer black and white, if for a particular listing i want to add two or three other colours, is that possible and if so how would I do that? Otherwise I will be in entering 144 variations each time!! Not fun. Thanks a lot for your help so far and any further advice you can give. Can't express how much I appreciate your work.
Glad it was helpful! When you create the color variations, you can add as many as you need to for each listing. If you copy an existing listing to create a new one, you can still go into the variations and add new or delete color options. You can also disable specific color/product combinations within the listing without actually deleting them if you'd rather do that. For example, if you create all the combination listings with black/white/grey/blue, and then you want one to just be black & white only but you don't want to go in and delete the other color variations, in the listing editor view on Etsy to the right side of each variation there is a toggle button to disable/hide them. You can simply hide the ones you don't want to offer without deleting them from the listing if that is quicker for you.
Excellent video, I have a recommendation though: once you start the variations part you need to enter *all* of your SKUs. If you try and save draft before entering all the SKUs etsy will repeat the last SKU for all the remaining entries (stupid thing). Instead, first do your t-shirts and save. Then do your sweatshirts and save. Then do your hoodies and save. That way you can enter them in 3 sessions instead of one.
I followed this video exactly when adding the variation types, but for some reason I don't have each type and size duplicated on the list with one for black and one for white. The color option is below the list with product type & sku. Now I am confused which sku # to put and hoping it somehow links to printify on correct color. HELP!
thank you so much! This is so helpful. Do you have a separate video on shipping prices etc for combo listings? You mentioned it in this video, but my brain is still super confused on it.
Also as far as shipping .... the totes are from MWW with facilities in both US (several) and Germany ... how do you calculate shipping time and costs ... especially worldwide?
In: "Edit variations" I select both Prices vary ... and SKUs vary.., then when I name the options: Small Tote, Medium Tote, and Large Tote it displays as Small Tote Inches, Medium Tote Inches, and Large Tote Inches, and there doesn't seem to be a way of deleting "Inches"
I see listings with 3 variation options, including an option for quantity. Is this something you used to be able to do on Etsy, but you can’t do it now? Just trying to figure out how they were able to do this.
Thank you so much for your great tunes. I'm just stumped by one thing regarding my T-shirt/Sweatshirt Listings. Why does my COLORS Drop Down insist on having my prices next to them. My Prices are on both the Type & Size and also on the COlORS. Please Help. Thanks , Amy
Hi Great Videos Man!!! Keep it up. I do have a Question. Can you make more than one Combo listing of the same design. So like 1 listing could be a sweatshirt and within that listing you can also offer t-shirts and hoodies. Can you then create another listing with the same design but call it T-shirt design with the same products for sale as the 1st listing. Does Etsy allow this? So you would have 2 of the same listing just the main product would change on each listing. Hope this makes sense. Just wondering. Thanks
Hi - I’ve tried asking this question directly to Printify but they can’t seem to grasp what I’m asking. Can I do everything you’re showing here except for a WooCommerce shop that is integrated instead of Etsy? Specifically - just make the drafts in Printify, take the SKUs and put in the variations section on my WooCommerce product page. If the SKUs match isn’t that the most important part? Any help would be appreciated. Printify just can’t seem to understand my question. Thank you very much!
This was great! I could never figure it out before. One question if you still see comments: what do you do about out of stock SKUs? I just created a listing and some variations were OOS; how do I keep on top of colors/sizes going in and out of stock when I've entered the info manually? My usual setting is for Printify to indicate they're OOS so no one orders one accidentally.
I like you content informative and easy to understand. I have a question concerning the same product (say Sweatshirts) having different design variation for different colors. what I mean is the light coloors garments has a black typeface and the dark colors I use a white typeface. In printify I have the colors seperated in 2 listings, one dark type the other white type. Same product different collors. I though about just posting 2 listings in ETSY but after seeing this is it posible to combine both in one listing, even isf I need to enter SKU's seperate. any adive would be appreciated.
Very helpful. Following along and even now (2/2024) the screens are different from what you are showing. Working through it. Why do they change screens around so much?!
This video was amazing!! But what do I do when the colors aren't identical for each shirt? (I have t-shirts, long sleeves, and sweatshirts. I input the color variations for each and left the SKUs empty for those that didn't exist. (Like "Cobalt" is only in t-shirts while "True Royal Triblend" is only in long sleeves). When it published, it lets the buyer choose Cobalt - which doesn't exist. How do I get it where a non-existent item can be purchased? Thanks!!!
If I want to have Etsy listing with “digital” and “physical” options (customized poster). How can I do it? Where can I get the tracking number to compete the order if the client chooses the digital option?
Hi, I have created listing like these with shirts. Sweatshirts and hoodies and it went smoothly but now when I do so, while creating my listing when I check the box for quantity and make them all 999, it doesn't apply the quantity at all, stays blank and then I am unable to publish my listing because of it. Do you maybe know why this is?
Is it true that you can wait until after your first order to enter all the SKUs? To save yourself time in case that item doesn't end up selling? Just found your channel... Excuse me while I binge-watch your other videos! :)
omg life saving video! Can I go back to my old listings and do this process? Can you make a video for that? Also, most of my designs have differenet font color for Black and white t-shirt, would that be a problem if I add them in the same listing?
Hi, I love your tutorials your very easy to follow. This tutorial is similar to what I'm designing, but I'm still stuck on how to add a different coloured font to different coloured shirts. I want to design 12 zodiac signs with different shirt colours with the option of white and black fonts, but I'm confused about how to create this in Printify to get different SKUs for each and show how to set it up in ETSY . Would you be able to provide a tutorial? I'm a beginner seller and this is very confusing.
From the 2022 video, After I have completed the final listing with all the variation UPC numbers, what do I do with the 3 shirt listings that were made on printing but published as hidden? Do they stay forever in the draft section of Etsy?
Can I ask a question about the Printify listing creation please? It is probably a very stupid question. Why did you create this design in Printify, chose not to publish but only copy and paste the SKU in Etsy listing? Thank you.
Thanks for your awesome videos! I have a question that I can't seem to find an answer yet! How do you setup a Etsy listing that contains 3 items? Example, I want to sell a Set of 3 art prints that is printed by Printify. There will be 3 separate products on printify but I want them to all come as one with only variation for a customer to chose their size (same size for 3 posters). Would have loved to see a video made on that, as couldn't find anyone yet covering this actually! Thanks a lot!
Hi! So it looks like the listing only has a mockup pic of the tshirt. is it possible to add mockup pics of all variations? sorry if this was already asked/answered my mind is spinning right now as im starting my business and have so much going on. lol thank you!
Do you need SKU numbers if all orders will be edited due to color, size and design choices? Do Need to publish any of my printify items , or leave them unpublished?
I’m so close to listing my very first group listing with this video! So thank you! but I have one question and hope you can help, I notice some out of stock items for specific variations, I did not enable rerouting to a different print provider so what happens in my case? If that makes sense.
Thanks for this! When adding the option to personalize, I believe you have to have a blank SKU. Is there a way around this so the items still link to Printify?
Question, how come when I try to change the text color from black to white on a black shirt on Printify when I save the product that I edited and changes all the text to white on all the other colors what am I doing wrong? I can’t seem to find the answer from Printify and RU-vid.
So in printify a hoodie and sweatshirt are around 8.50 shipping but tshirts are $4.80 about so should I do all the t shirts separately and the sweatshirts and hoodies together for the same design? Or how would you do it? If I’m offering all 3 for all of my designs I’m not sure how to go about it thanks!
Good video. I'd like to see a video discussing pricing in general. I'm seeing a lot of shops with a shirt listing that will be priced at a low price, let's say 10 bucks, and then you click on the listing and within the dropdown there's one item, for example a onesie, that's priced at that amount but everything else is priced what you'd expect it to be and then they tack on shipping and the design itself is not something you'd put on a onesie. Is this a better strategy than a listing that doesn't have an item priced low like the onesie? Curious if you can do a comparison.
Does copying the SKU number work the same if you set up the printify draft with the same design but in a different color? I was doing a private custom order and they wanted two different color shirts. The writing on one shirt was black, and the other was white. I was afraid that if I grouped them it wouldn't print the proper color design for each color shirt.
I dont understand why. when i followed your video when i click on "colors" it has the prices listed beside them. So now I have prices listed in the type & size, and color and it looks horrible. How do you fix that?
I have this same doubt, because for example if I want to create an advertisement for Comfort Colors and B+Canvas t-shirts, each one gives different names to its colors. So, how to prevent a person from choosing a B+Canvas t-shirt in pepper color that only belongs to Confort Colors?
@@ElizabethMV_ I worked around it. Since you can only have two variations I did Color and Size, and on the color I said: T-shirt White, T-shirt Black etc and then Sweatshirt White, Sweatshirt Sand etc. So they'd have to choose the correct product/color and then size. Hope that helps!
Wow very well explained step by step, what doubts do I have if I can add in the same list sizes of children and adults ? Or is it independent I want to do something for Cristmas but of all sizes how do I do?
This means I'm using the same producers in the mock ups for each time I use it? And what about price increases - will I see it when I pull up the the copy?
For the life of me I can't figure out how to get the color menu to change based on the style chosen. So for example if I list Hoodies, Sweatshirts and Tshirts that offer different colors how to I get the color menu to change based on the style chosen?
I have a question : When I have a sale on my pod product do I need to fill all the client info in printify ( address and personal info) and after to order the product or its automated and printify is only charging me for the product price to process the order ?
Wow, I think I’ll just make separate listings. The level of making an error on my end is not worth it. I’ve been wondering how this is done, 🤔 and now I know. Thanks!
Quick Question - When drop shipping Phone Cases, I want to combine Tough Cases (WOYC) and Slim Cases(SPOKE), but each have a different shipper. My combo listing is currently set to WOYC as shipping profile. If a customer buys the Slim Case by SPOKE, how does printify know it should swap from WOYC to SPOKE?
That is based on the sku#. That is Prinitfy's way of tracking each product. If you don't have a sku# listed and make a sale, it will be listed in your 'other orders' tab in Prinitify, and you will have to manually fulfill the order from there.
