Wow Tiana you got some tech!! I use paraffin for my melts atm but I notice some frosting with age so may go parrsoy blend to keep the glossy look. Love your videos as always been a huge help to me

I love your videos. They are very helpful for someone like me who's thinking about starting a candle business. I like how you stick to the facts and not over sell what you're doing as well as offer places to find materials. What other items have you added to the candles other than sprinkles and glitter that won't harm the finished product? Also, do you mostly use one fragrance or create your own blend to achieve a scent? I'm going to start ordering tonight!

Can you do a video on you supplies lik how are you creating the mini subjects for each candle. Where you order your supplies from like you scents and you molds. Where you get ya wax what was you use . How you do the wraps and where you get them. Your color where you get your color blocks . Which wax is better for the sent to be more vibrant and what wax holds a color better. Where where you get ya labels what are they mad of and how you make them. If that’s not to much

I’m a fairly new candle maker and I’ve been having a similar struggle with wax melts. So far nothing has been a good fit for me. I do not personally like the clamshell molds, so I’m leaning towards silicone molds. I’m really glad I saw your video because a few questions I had, you cleared up 😊. When you switched to a harder wax what did you switch too? I use GW 464 for my candles but there are quite a few options for tarts and molds. Thanks for the info! Your candles are beautiful.

Hello! I know 464 is a soy so I'm not sure if you are someone who just works with soy, but igi 4625 is a very hard wax that is good for tarts. It's a bit TOO hard for me though so I mix it with igi 4627. I'm sorry I don't have a soy suggestion!

Tiana Coats I haven’t worked with anything other than soy, however I’m open to trying different waxes. I just purchased a virgin coconut soy wax from the wooden wick to try out. I try to purchase something different every couple of months so I’m not limiting myself. I’ll give the igi wax a try next! Thank you for responding!

It's a brother business smart printer. It's the same one I've had since I've started my business. I'm not over the moon about it, but it does the job.

You can buy a wax warmer. They come in electric or you can buy one from dollar tree and use tealights to warm it up.

The wax melts are touching which means they will rub against each other and press against each other also. It would be cuter if they were stacked side by side in a single row with a rounded square label on a self adhesive or resealable bag. You can get more labels out of the label sheet and you wont get any of crinkling which makes its look amateurish. If its hard to get everything in flat you can get white 65 lb cardstock from Michael's which is acid free and use it as a backing card where you can print out the directions for use on the back side which is not touching the wax melts. I use this methods for the cupcake toppers I sell where presentations is extremely important even though they are taking it out of the packaging shortly. Your candles are beautiful non the less.

I made them from a harder formula because of the way they are touching. They've been packaged for a few days and still look the same as when I put them in. I'll keep your idea in mind in case I need to change it up. Thanks!
