In this video titled EU4 A to Z - I UNITED The CELTIC EMPIRE & It Was GLORIOUS I play as Ormond in Europa Universalis 4 1.36 King of Kings. This is the series titled A to Z where I attempt to play every* nation in EU4 in alphabetical order. Of course I had to remove some nations so the challenge doesn't get too boring. In this video I play as the nation of Ormond and I attempt to conquer and subjugate all of the other Celtic nations in EU4. So, let's see if I managed to do it! I hope you guys enjoy this series. As the Ottomans, make Byzantium disappear, flip Orthodox and conquer Byzantine borders of 1000AD.

I dunno if there are any more celtic nations with unique national ideas, but maybe you could try conquering all formely celtic speaking lands, like half of iberia, france, all of britain, a pretty good chunk of central europe and the ankara provinces. Sounds pretty hard but you could do it!

Most of the Alps, Southern Germany, Austria, Northern Italy, good chunks of Turkey, probably most of eastern Europe. We really spread out back in the day.

mannn I wish EU4 had like a super tiny celtic DLC, I'd love something like a somewhat major celtic formable, stuff like a more interesting Scotland path that's not just forming Great Britain (actually a way to go the british path or the celtic path as Scotland would be soooo cool!), etc.. fighting to restore the celtic culture thruout europe, stuff like that

its a shame how little attention ireland got for the rule brittania dlc, atleast they got a unique tier 1 government in domination, and a unique parliament (which is essentially just a name change, but I'm glad they show the Oireachtas)

With the Butlers of Ormonde, you created an Anglo-Irish empire. They were one of the Old English families that became "more Irish than the Irish themselves".

Should’ve conquered the Spanish/Portuguese Celtic nations(Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria and northern Portugal and Northern Leon. They’re only vaguely Celtic nowadays but they do some Celtic traditions and celebrations there

You could switch to Catholic and also become HRE Emperor as the Ottomans and still go for World Conquest. Since being the Curia Controlled with the Ottomans is pretty OP.

Man im so hyped for the world conquest from hawk. Him to have to play optimized will be so fun to watch :D i can already see the annoyed eyes when tlemcen casually allies castille and france. Or austria getting free burgundy, hungary and bohemia :D

I thought if you declared on a vassal, waited a day for overlord to become the main belligerent, then you could call in your allies even if they wouldn't join at first? Might be thinking of something else

I wonder if marking Brittany's provinces as vital interests would have discouraged France from vassalizing them. I don't know if the AI considers possible future conflict with strong allies.

Heh reminds me of yesterday, was doing a byz run and on the second war vs the ottomans, who were still quite powerful, suddenly the the ruler of montferrat decides to die and leave me the crown. Austria, my main ally against the ottomans, and quite powerful, emperor, Hungary PU and all, goes nuh huh and immediately declares and puts me in a two front war with two great powers. What could go wrong right?

In the interests of maximizing pain, there are two more Celtic provinces you need to add! * The province of Bozok in Anatolia was settled by Celts (these are the "foolish Galatians" in the Bible) * If you want to find Celtics, you have to land in Massachusetts! I mean c'mon.

As the ottomans convert to at least 10 religions before the end of the game. Religions in the same group do count e.g converting to both protestant and reformed is 2 religions

16:19 - Dude, couldn't you Alt +F4 and then use favors to break their alliance? You were going to do it anyway... And I don't think it to be cheating, not on a game like EU4 for sure
