why doesnt the game tell you that the bonus from furnace is global. i get that the tutorials in these games dont tell you anything but how is someone meant to figure that out.

That's because all global goods produced modifiers are just called 'goods produced modifier'. If it was local than it wpuld be called 'local goods produced modifier'

It's not a hugbox, it's a beneficiary alliance. Going to war with France or the Netherlands would not benefit Zlewikk so he won't do it. A hugbox is where players ally indefinately without it benefitting them, so they block eachothers expansion etc.

GB and France cant be allied to each other as they are both hegemons. Not to mentioned that since 1444 they werent invved in any war together. You better come to last episode, you will be surprised:p
