I’m sure that I’m missing something… but what’s the best way of getting Torque Pads in the UK? Also any recommendations for the best Velcro while I’m eBay hunting?
I'm a newbie with my KS16x with a little over a week riding experience. What I've noticed is when I hit the smallest of bumps in the pavement my feet feel like they are going to fly off the wheel, so I really hope these jump pads help with that. I bought the Urban Star Jump Pads for the KS16x because I didn't want my heels locked in, and I also wanted the ability to jump and not fly off my wheel when I hit bumps on the road. If it feels too constricting on my legs, then I'll just split them in half and widen them like Wrong Way did in this video. All these pads are very expensive for being thin 3D printed material., and they all have shipping fees as well! Crazy. At the very least you would think they could ship them free of charge for the price they are asking and for the light weight of the pads... get a set of pads and new pedals and you're looking at roughly 500 bucks! geesh
Great Video mate, I really appreciate all your content, it’s so helpful and informative. I live in the country and don’t know anyone else with an EUC and have never seen one other than mine, so your channel helps heaps in building my understanding. I’m 2 weeks in on my first EUC, it’s a V8F and I love it. I just made some massive power pads from very thick gym matting, they make a huge difference, as a beginner my ridding has improved heaps from using them. I watched Law Laxina’s tutorial on making them, it was very help full. I’m making a smaller version now. Thanks again.
I'll sell you a set of ShanesPads v2. No good for jumping tho.... Velcro comes in 'hook and loop' sides. Your terminology is always quite entertaining.
Nice info here, I just got some Sai glider power pads a few day ago for my Sherman as I'm a new rider they seemed like the best logical step up from the stock pads didn't want to lock my foot in just yet. I'm really liking the look of those torque pads might be my next upgrade 👍
Another thing to point out from the hulaj market pads. After only one week of riding i started to bend the back padding, it doesn't look like they'll last a lot longer. I weigh 68kg.
Thanks for a long awaited comparison. T-pads looks great. I wish they will redesign the ribs more smooth. You can't just wipe the dust off by a duster.
I'm waiting for the gen 3 Clark Pads. I got the Gen 2 Ones you have here just waiting on my Monster Pro to clear Customs here in the US 🇺🇸 to try them out.
Can you review the Fiber case? Does it fit enough when you jump, the case will not float up? Or the Fiber case will make the body be scratched. Weight of fiber case, so and so. Thank you.
There is already a review on the channel about it for the msp ht. Maybe after a 1000km or so I’ll make an update. Dirt can get in from below the shell sadly but it’s very sturdy
@@mr_wrongway Suggestion: don't try to strike that balance in every title, strike it across a month of videos; some will be better as straightforward, others could do with some silly bait. The bait may bring those new subs, yes, but the the more info-heavy are for everyone who is specifically looking for that info. Make sense?
@@mr_wrongway see - I don’t think it is click bait anymore - it’s part of the community. It’s like an in joke. The more funny you go with it the better in my opinion. Make it a self reverentially ridiculous thing and just make sure the actual info is in there as well. Ride that algorithm. Mark
On an unrelated topic sorta.... do you have any thoughts on whats going to happen to electric unicylce availability with the silicon chip and battery shortage? This is my favorite EUC channel, I would love to hear your thoughts on it.
I can tell you we're gonna have to adapt to sodium ion batteries which is the future that's what I'm putting in my new unicycles next year June I will have the prototypenso you all can see Is a new American company and I am gonna rival with the veteran Sherman and Gotway
Im in 3d printing, the clark pads perhaps using a 1mm extruder tip, hence fatter layer lines, the common infill is 20% so it would be interesting to know what infill they have. the ripples in the edges are from high speed and slightly loose belts on the printer usually. Time is money so its bound to be a trade off between layer hight and speed. I made some pads today just by chance and i used spongy double sided tape, eh to small, unstuck, should have got flat double sided tape perhaps. and much bigger. Wonder what shoes are best. good video. expensive wee devils. but i felt how nice it was to lean on them.
Hi, thank you for all your great content. I'm a proud owner of a KS16X, and I'm wondring what jump or power pads you would recommend for this monowheel ?
Furniture "Foam" - the word you were looking for I think. . I bought some Fisk Pads on eBay - quite cheap. I'm a relatively inexperienced rider, so I don't really need them and that was my conclusion on trying them. Interesting video though.
Love your vids , expression , knowledge of pevs, love the guitar play, keep me up , lot in common bro shout out to you and much love and support for the craft!☘🍀stay green😉👍❤
If I knew you was doing this video I would of loved to send you my design. To be honest though, designs are all very similar. Once you try one or two you've tried them all really.
You missed all the great, free, pads that are out there. That can be printed by friends or even by visiting some libraries or hackerspaces if you don't own a 3D Printer.
The Clark pads gen 3 universal are like $129 USD and the Monster pro gen 2 are $149 USD i think ERide sell their pads to high !! In every reviews i saw the Clark pads gen 3 universal seem to be the best pads ever... but this is not my opinion i was just about to buy a set.
I love your videos always the right way when you go the wrong way but here goes one how come you don't show people how to make these pads using a yoga block or using rubber matting because because these guys are ridiculous the amount of money it takes to make these things for what they sell them for nothing but wolves bro and You cut him up anyways and adapt them for your legs so custom pads made at home I think are the best price
I know this is off topic, but how many calories do you think you burn using an EUC and what muscles are you using? Would this be helpful for losing weight?
Thanks for the video Adam, V. interesting as just getting used to my first set of power pads for my Nik+. Quick unrelated question, what are your views re. tyre slime? Do you use it / similar stuff? Finally TURN ON YOUR AC!😅👍🙏
You are welcome Rob! Glad you have your first set of pads! I never used tire slime as I always had a flawless performance of tires funny enough. I bent rims several times but never any issues with tire or tube :) so I just don’t use it at all. I just had a flat once on a Dualtron thunder. It was turned on right after recording!
I got torque pads and thought they sucked. They didn’t fit around any of my shoes so I cut them. Nothing sticks to them. They are big and hang off my wheel. Very dissatisfied.
Seems like everyone would want pads so it's really surprising that EUC Mfg doesn't include them with the order. Adding 3rd party pads seem like an afterthought to me.
Exactly what I thought... 150€? Like Jesus, they cost 30ct to produce, depending on where you live 5-10€ shipping... And the hours of Design... Yea idk I will just create my own
@@lefotografion Okay while they're really fucking expensive thats like at least $20-$30 in material, flex materials like that are expensive as fuck and those are almost solid I mean I guess they might get it a bit cheaper in bulk but orders of magnitude more expensive than cents. Print time is probably also close to 24h for a pair.
@@oliverer3 OK I don't know about your plastic prices TBH, but here where I buy them I get 1kg TPU (or other flex filament) for 15€. No shipping cost due to me picking up directly. This kg is enough for i guess 4 pads? Well yea ok it's not cent's. My bad, should have done the math before
@@lefotografion I'd estimate pair weighs close to 600-700g. But fair enough I mostly buy flex from Fillamentum or ninjatek which are certainly on the more expensive side but damn high quality
I tried to order for my V10F, didn’t get any answer. I ride really calm with it, but thought side pads might be comfy and feel secure when jumping curbs, which I haven’t tried sofar.
Great comparison, would be cool to use same criteria and give scores for all of them and then summarize. Also, more than happy to send you Grizzla Pads, if you'd plan to update the video at some point with new products reaching the market;) facebook.com/GrizzlaPads/
I tried to order a pair of Torque Pads for my Inmotion V10F by writing to the e-mail on this video’s information page. I never got any answer from the company. How can I order these side pads and have them delivered to Finland in Europe? Is this seller still active or out of business?
@@davidkrbecek1137 Thanks for your kind help. I already ordered Inmotion torque pads as I could find these by myself , so I will try out them in the summer. Wishing you a nice spring!
Buckethead getting more dressed up than a mannequin at a fashion design school (needs a sticker of his name in a prominent place). Nice video, but the mark up on these products far outweigh the production costs. I do like the sai pads though... keep safe
@JM Coulon Yes... for sure, the best option is to have your own printer and print them yourself.. but personally i will make my own pads, even without a 3D printer... now if i can also find a pair of pads that are 2nd hand, i prefer this option too.
