Excellent review by LifeHackster as always. The S350 camera has a lot of features for the price. I personally would not have a camera in my home but I could see this being used in a nursery to monitor the baby or a pet left alone in the home during the daytime. The only negative is that the camera doesn't have color night vision but that could be possible by installing sensor lights that will turn on lamps so the camera could switch to color. Thanks for posting the review.

What I liked about the 2k pan and tilt, is that when it was off, the lens rotated back into the housing so you know it couldn't video record you nefariously.

Need the outdoor non solar version of this!

This makes more sense for an outdoor camera. Maybe my house is a small shack but I don’t find the tracking or zoom lens necessary. I’d rather have an increased frame rate. I get why they use 15fps in low light but in bright conditions it should be at least 24fps.

this is pretty good, better than the wise cam pan which doesn't zoom and lower quality picture. wifi 6 makes it less laggy. I've had issues with Eufy cameras in the past though so maybe if they fixed those this is pretty good.

Great video . I would suggest you could add one more check . If the app allows the 2 ways communication as a walkie talkie or it's like one press button and I can listen and speak to guy . Example ezviz allows 2 ways communication but s330 is like walkie talkie

I have the normal pan and tilt pointing outside on an illuminated piece in front of the apartment so it doesn’t reflect the night vision in the window since it doesn’t refs to use it. This would be nice to have some more range with the zoom but is it worth the 3x price ?!

I like the camera but i think it is werid when i set 'use only 4K camera in preview', it seems the nightvision is not that good as tele? I can always switch to tele when i check my camera and have better nightvision, but recording is always with 4K camera with less nightvision then?

Eufy really need to up the frame rate on all these 4k cams

Great features and a nice camera other than why do 4k and then do it at 15fps? It should have done at least 24fps or 30fps.

My s350 is having some pannin down problem. Like it doesn't pan all the way down. I have to forcefully make it point down to where I want it. And when it's in the position I want, couple of hours later, it looks up and stays up. Like right now, my camera is pointing at the ceiling.

Would the S350 be able to record through a window (night and day)? The window faces the walkway leading up to my front door.

How far down can this camera tilt? For example, could it see a pet on the floor if on a shelf or table?

Is it possible to set the motion detection to be automatically saved to the phone, or is it only saved to the SD card and then manually downloaded to the phone? If a thief gets into the apartment and destroys the camera, will the video be automatically saved on the phone?

7:03 Man, the image stabilization in motion tracking mode is just brutal. It feels like being drunk to the point of passing out and trying to scan the room with your eyes one last time before it's lights out. The unstable audio fading in and out also doesn't do it any favors. Just so.... nauseating, lol. It should be nicknamed the "Drunk VR Cam". 😂

Why cant I use single lens with 3x zoom??? It only allow me to use the 1x lens when on single lens. If I put dual then yes I get both

I like the idea and the video sounds good. However I'm not sure if it's your house or the how the speakers are picking up your voice/sound but it sounds like your talking through a tin can with a hall echo feel.

Is continous recording only available if your homebase is hard wired to router? Or can it also work if your homebase is connected wirelessly to the router?

The camera unnecessarily follow a person around while the person is still in the frame. Can we customize the threshold before the camera starts following the subject? Unnecessary motion blurring

Cute little robot spy 😂 The pan/tilt was surprisingly responsive. Audio a bit sketchy compared to other Eufy cams? But still discernible. Eager to see if Eufy are releasing a new powered outdoor pan & tilt camera with 4K.

The Wyze cam pan v3 does all that for 39 dollars. Please tell me why I should buy this camera instead for 100 dollars? Also how does it record? Do you have pay for recordings?

When this camra records to a SD card will record in a loop?

I have two of the S350 cams and neither of them will record in anything higher than 1080p. I have contacted Eufy by phone and through email with no solution. In the apps options at "Streaming Quality" It clearly states "The image quality when you play the live video." This setting allows me to set it to 4K. The "Recording Quality" option clearly states "The image quality when the camera is recording." In this option both the 4K and 2K options are grayed out. At the bottom it says "Note: 2K recording is not available on this phone due to incompatable video codecs. Updating your phone's software may resolve this issue." So lets just stop right here, this is saying cameras even though they each have their own 128Gb microSD card can not record in the advertised 4K resolution and that it is dependant on what phone and software is on the phone?? This is wrong ... so wrong, and Eufy has no solution for it. I purchased their Homebase 3 only to return it because according to Eufy if I'm using the Homebase 3 or their website to store video it will only be in 1080p. This is just a heads up to any would be buyers out there, Eufy is not all it seems to be.
