Very biased n poor comparison. Sorry. No mention of the spotlight which is a major difference between the two. A comparison of the night video would have been useful. Hopefully you could do better next time.
May I ask, just bought the Eufy solar S220, does it work and compatible with the old Eufy Homebase 2 or do I need to purchase the new Homebase 3. Please let me know, thanks.
Hi im looking at getting the eufy s220 solar without the home base. My question is can you still view the recodings on the app or is it like others were you can only see a minute or so. Thanks
50% failure rate on eufy cameras purchased. Useless support, then after being given constant things to try over the months. they say “sorry it’s now out of warranty so tough sh’t”.
The S330 does require the new HomeBase 3. If you don't want to upgrade you can get a solocam that doesn't need a homebase (hint the name "solocam", when you look on their website for that name) but I wouldn't do solocams because they don't come with an option to add a micro SD card for more storage, it only comes with 8gb that it's not much at all. You always have the option to pay the monthly subscription but I personally avoid that at all cost and get cams with micro SD feature. If you get the s330 cam and upgrade the homebase you can add 16TBs to the homebase having lots of storage for the s330 cam and any other security cam from Eufy you would like to add future.
Is the solar panel removable? We want to place this on a covered front porch - not in direct sunlight. We’d need to place the solar panel about 3 feet away from the mounting location? Also - how long does the battery last when it is not recharged by the sun? A week? A month?
