Excellent explanation, but there is an error. You say that you cannot have a voice conversation with a person standing in front of the camera, and this information is wrong. Yes, you can have a conversation through the camera with complete ease.
How quick is it to start recording? I have a different camera at my home now but sometimes it doesnt start recording until the person is like 3 feet away from the camera.
Excellent question Scott! It does have facial recognition through the home base. You can save “familiar faces” and choose not to get notifications for those.
Can anyone help me? Can you use this camera with no wifi? For example. I want to put on my farm. Then check what’s recorded on the memory when I go there. Is this possible? Farm has no wifi
well, it should record on the sd card if there is no wifi... but I'm not sure if it won't go to "sleep" after a while if it notices there is no connectivity...
@@shanda2600 It takes forever to connect, mine is less than 10 feet from my wifi and still takes over 5 minutes. I will get alerts yet it takes so long to actually see them
@@shanda2600 it will never connect, mine is about 10 ft from my router and will never connect. If it does, it take well over 5 minute and you have to keep closing the app and restart it ti maybe make it work. I recommend to everyone I know, stay away
