how do you rate its mopping system? (from 0 to 10) Does it completely clean up dried mucks?

Did you get it into Home Assistant? Tried the Robovac integration from bmccluskey and it detects the x9, but I'm not able to control the device. Any hints?

Similar sort of experience. Using the pbuteel fork of eufy_vacuum it can trigger start but nothing else. Really wish eufy would open up to smart home use. The only other thing is to trigger it via HA using Alexa calls.

I was hoping for a mention of Home Assistant - I'd like to find something that doesn't require a cloud connection (probably impossible, I know)

Thank you very much for the review, Mark! Excellent Review! How do the mop pads stay wet when in mop mode? Does it have to return to the base station to rewet the pads every few minutes? Does it also tell you when the dust chamber gets full?

With the mop pads it will return to add additional water (depending on your area size and how wet you have set the pads to be). With the dustbin as the robot doesn’t self empty and there is no sensor to say the dustbin is full. This means if you do forget to empty it, it would still try and collect more. The compression on the dustbin is really good on this robot. The collection pretty much comes out as a block as it is all packed in very well thanks to the high suction. I hope that helps :)

How well do these vacuums get over door thresholds? Mine are raised about 2cm. Would the robot be able to get over these?

Mine charges super slow and periodically goes offline. I may return it and go back to my Roomba J7+ and Bravva M6.

This only uses water but I’ve been putting floor cleaner in the mix and not had any issues.

Do you ever consider doing giveaways for some of the smart tech gear you have? Like when you get a new smart vac you could give away the old one to a lucky watcher?

I just did a charity event where all the old tech went for auction and raised over £3000 for charity :) Tech giveaways are a great idea but in practice they attract spammers and fake posts etc.

This robot sucks ....it is totally rubbish ...i had three roborocks before i buy this useless piece ....The MAJOR flaw i MAPPING..First you can t magnify the map as much as you wish ,second you can t mark a certain point on the map to send it for spot cleaning ,third if you rearrange anything in the room it won't clean where there were furniture or something else ...it just use the stored map and wont cover new areas ...TOTAL DISSAPOINTMENT .Won t reccomend as it is.

@@MarkWattTech Sorry for the delay Mark. I was thinking about the Roborock series of vacuums, some of which you've tested on your channel and my brain made me type Robovac instead! 🤪
