I had a great discussion with Eugene at Tinley. Had no idea who he was but we talked like old friends. What an intelligent and well spoken man. Looking back I can't believe I was actually talking with one of the pioneers of our hobby. Mind blown.
Hey brother...... I loved the interview with Eugene....... He's the best! I met him in Archer Florida about 25 year's ago and he and his wife welcomed me in to his home and he let me get the pick of the baby albino Green Burmese python. It was amazing walking around with him on his property and he is so knowledgeable and willing to share his "smarts" with everyone who is willing to really learn. Seeing you two together is great! The New and the seasoned veteran of the reptile breeding world........ It's Great! Keep it coming brother!

Wow what an awesome and inspirational interview. Dude's pretty kool and got a ton of insight towards the hobby/business! I love when you guys do these interviews gives people like me hope that we possibly won't have to spend the rest of our days stuck in a factory or some other dead-end job hating what we're doing! Just ran across this interview... I've known Eugene since the mid 90's... great guy. Great breeder. But he can talk forever. Brian only said like 3 words. Gene could of been a fire and brimstone preacher. No problem. Lucky for us he's a reptile guy...lol
THE MAN !!! I've learned more from Eugene than any other snake keeper and breeder as well as Vin Russo two great founding father's and my two massive Argentine Boas, Nosey and Grumpy came from Eugene and Cindy back 15 years ago as babies. Incredible man with a vast wealth of snake knowledge and education and always has had my TOTAL respect !! I talked to him live on an old live talk show years back called Reptile Radio with Larry and BT. I assume he is still living in Archer Florida and Vin Russo told me he had seen my two snakes Grandmother in person and she was HUGE !!! Awesome guest and live video Brian and he has always been spot on people are either hobbyist that spend a ton of time handling and working with their snakes and socializing them and on the other end of the spectrum are the breeders that are mainly interested in producing new genetics :) My gosh I've talked to Steve and followed him for a long time too incredible guy !!

I've been gone ten years gene. father put me through...the fire. death..then life...that pounding and grinding and sanding to become truly awakened and not bound by the diseases that nearly killed me or my religious and self convoluted notions. my brother, my teacher..we need to talk as I tried the old number recent to no avail. Rico is gone and others, me nearly also Geno... he saved me...a wretch like me the one god saved whom changes not. I need to give you this testimony... old man. I am the only man that came and when I left your shit cleaners had to fill holes in the yard! told you she was a big one with a reefer but oh no come on in for there is plenty room! love you and your passion is of legend gene and those you have taught like myself not just about critters but about life and love and commitment. you and Cindy. bet the babied have really grown as I am now a grandfather of two. just a kid I was when I first seen you with your huge jungle knife and that total passion you have never lost. he taught me gene and I can tell you how to live that long life now you want if you want it. he saved me from 340 pounds and colon cancer and diabetes and heart disease and west Nile that nearly paralyzed me...all with no doctors. the secrets to human and animal health. death made me humble from my own bullshit wisdom and I became open to receive and made the sacrifices for ten years. I want to help and yet sometimes I run them off. it was a hell of an awakening gene, but you know me...just ole hillbilly. ya, just ole hillbilly that desires now to help others as god helped me. freewill, I have it and so does everyone else. love
That's a beautiful story on getting drawn to the hobby! He radiates passion behind the things he is saying! Lol drool cup! He is funny! Wow I just love how driven he is to this field! He is all in, heart, blood, sweat, and tear! That man loves this hobby! This is why I involve my kiddos as much as they want to be involved because they have so many other less productive/positive things pulling at their minds from every direction! lol "Get them into reptiles and they wont have money for drugs!" LOL!
