Thanks for the tips on its watering needs, and washing off of the sap. I’m buying a Rubra for a potting arrangement, and I probably would have forgotten that this is one likes more water .

Nice plants! Outdoors it will drink water I have left mine outside in the sun during the summer and it experienced the normal rain and heat of summer and it grew its tail off! Indoors treat it like a cactus because it will rot out on you. The leaves come and go. I have two of them, they can go a month without water indoors and mine usually go almost the entire winter without a drink (indoors of course) when growth slows. I am in zone 5 in the US.

Cool!:) I'm working on getting mine propagated. I got some cuttings gifted to me so in trying to get them happy. I just gotta work in getting a bigger size pot for my big one. The pot its in keeps tipping.

Good luck with yours! A bugger and also a heavier pot would definitely help with the problem, maybe try giving it some support sticks too.

Unfortunately, i can't make an update video. It was one of the plants i had to rehome when I moved. There were a lot of painful cuts to my collection. But i can say that the mother plant is still thriving with its new owner.

Hi there do you have any update about how's the OG/ momma plant doing after a year time. I've got mine from my mum it's beautiful and seems healthy but shockingly skinny and tall so I'm just wondering what to do with

Hi! Unfortunately, i can't give an update as this plant has been re-homed. But the cuttings rooted, and the mother plant did recover from being cut. If the plant is skinny, you need to give it more light, i noticed that with the mother plant, it was being kept in poor light conditions before i got it, and wheb i gave it more light you could see the new growth was much thicker, that was the main reasin i cut it in the first place, it just looked very top heavy. Thanks for watching!

Very beautiful , clean and neat looking plants. They look as if they've been polished including the leaves and no , I'm not joking. 😊 I have a question though. Could you share some knowledge with us on how to grow a branch on Euphorbia Trigona Green and Red(Rubra)? For example on any Ficus variety we give a slight cut on the stem just above or below the leaf on a medium size plant potted in 12 inches round pot and from there new branches start to appear. But how to do it for these Euphorbia plants? I have no idea and I have not tried anything fearing the plant might attract fungus infection if I give cuts at the side. I have 2 no.s Euphorbia Green and Red each. None of them have branch out yet and they look ugly compared to the others which have branches. Fortunately , they're growing but straight up , no branches. My friend has one with branches but they appeared on their own. I think he's lucky. 😁 So some help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks for watching and for your lovely comment. I like to keep them dust free with a damp cloth, but I don't use any shine products as those are just unnecessary.

Want it to branch cut the top off and it will branch at the cut. But when you cut it spray the wound with cold water to stop it from bleeding.

They don’t grow a lot of roots and that is why they fall over. Trick it to use rocks on top of soil to help stabilize it or cut off the top and take those cuttings and repot them after they scab over.

Don’t want fungus..let the soil dry out between watering.
