Laurie PURPOSELY puts the needle in terribly several times in order to bruise her heavily and mark her as a major user and basically destroy any credibility if she talks. Rue is a liability to Laurie and if she runs crying to her parents and cops get involved she needs to make sure Rue isn’t taken seriously!
This episode made the mess that was Season 2 worth it to me. Such a realistic portrayal of how quickly you can screw your whole life up when you’re doing hard drugs. The acting was 👌🏻
There's a lot of unrealistic things that happen in this show, but that cop chase has to be the MOST realistic lol American cops suck at chasing people down. I walked out my door and some dude zipped past me. Five minutes later the cops were huffing and puffing after him lol
i work in rehab services and ive heard alot of similar or crazier stories of what ppl do to not withdraw, to achieve that peace that high they crave. ppl have destroyed entire communities, families, over drugs. I like that this episode brings light to how real and violent drug addiction can be. some people may not even see the signs or care enough to change. those willing to fight need a good support system.
Guys interventions can get rough !! Like when a drug addicts back is against the wall it can be like they have nothing to lose an will throw anything an everything out to try an get off them an their problems … Z deserves all the awards for the scene alone !! 😍
I don't know if you guys read the comments, but if so, when the episode aired fans started discussing if in the end Rue made it back home, or she couldn't run away and was just dreaming/hallucinating it while high and actually the drug dealer would sell her to human trafficants. That analysis made me freak out about even being a possibility... Love your reactions! Always makes me laugh
no seriously “i love you” after cheating on her like she can choke fr like the only just spew of hate that was valid from Rues mouth was what she told her & elliot
I will say that this episode is one of the hardest for me. As someone with bipolar and a dysfunctional family dynamic growing up - it unfortunately was like this (minus the drugs, which i feel may or may not have made the fights worse), or just the explosive and hurtful things Rue was saying, or aggressive she'd act, or the franticness of it all are very much what I feel when going through episodes. So seeing all that through her just made me feel all kinds of things. It's fun watching you guys react to this and your reaction of not entirely liking Rue in this episode because of what she's doing is completely understandable but it does suck to know that this is how the majority of the world sees people with bipolar - and most times we cant even say shit because when we're acting out as a result of our episodes, we do come off as the "crazy" person
The theory is that the door Laura had with a lock is where women are locked to be sold and the birds are there to cover the screams. Popular theory but never confirmed tho
Nah, there's a lot of stigma when it comes to bipolar disorder.. Comments like yours doesn't make it easier! Manic episodes are not the same as drug abstinence desperation..
@@ocean91I have bipolar and while her actions were made worse because of the drugs, a lot of what happened in her house is a very good example of what could happen during a very bad manic episode.
They call will smith's smack the one heard across the globe nah rues moms is it for me. So satisfying too. This episode was nuts had me on edge the whole time. Love this reaction and love euphoria (also fezco is king)
Why do people feel bad for Jules in this situation ?😬 she definitely has her own trauma but she’s done rue wrong so many times and you want to brings a guy who just wanted to fuck you both to a “intervention” when he does just as many drugs. It’s just wild to me.
alot of these people like rue are mostly homeless and we sadly dont hear about their everyday stories of survival. glad this episode brought light to this situation. great reaction love u guys
Did you notice she lied to Rue? She said she doesn’t have pills but in the bag you can see she clearly does. She wants Rue to become addicted to the middle.
This was one of the hardest episodes to watch because I’ve been on the other side of that door when someone is screaming like that and breaking in. It’s fucking terrifying. Like it’s the person you know and love, but it’s also not. It’s the very worst part of them, the ugliest most pathetic part and you want to help them but you can’t. You can’t reason with them or say anything that will get through to them because it’s the drugs in control, not them. Zendaya’s acting here was so real it was terrifying. She accurately portrays the damage drugs do not only to the person under their influence but to those around them. Drugs take everything from you and burn it all to the ground and shit on it and then leave you to clean it all up. If you can.
no bc how didnmt they relize that rue took it and she didnt have that type of the money, the suitcase was full of drugz and they just flushed it down the toilet???
Benzo withdrawal is rough (and dangerous) but I gotta politely disagree that it's the worst. In my experience, the worst is definitely heroin and oxycontin. Mucho dookie in the urinal.
My analogy for the whole thing at 8:00 is, one's like a hollow point bullet, looks normal at first then boom, then ones like a shotgun of birdshot, seems like it's gonna be more than it is. feel free to correct me after if i messed up i'm not a gun connoisseur lol
What do y’all mean “Jules doesn’t deserves this” SHE LITERALLY CHEATED ON RUE IN THE SAME ROOM SHE WAS IN😂 and she quite frankly didn’t give a fuck😂😂 so that’s what she get😭
