Rue wore her hoodie for protection and comfort because that’s what her dad brought and it reminded her of him. So Rue stopped wearing her hoodie when she met Jules because Jules brought her protection and comfort and Rue didn’t feel the need to wear her dads hoodie if she had Jules. But when Jules left, so did that protection and comfort. Is that why she put the hoodie back on after Jules left?

Rue is alive. Or at least they're trying to bring her back. Notice at 1:11 the way she slips from her dad's hands (she's coming back to life) and she then falls into the hands of the choir. Then, they move her up and down while zendaya grabs her heart, the whole scene is a cinematographic way of CPR. They even hold their hands up. Amazing work, brilliant acting and amazing directors.

I also felt this this way. I thought the moving circle represented the continuation of life and the way they were throwing her up and down referenced the way she said her depression would wax and wane, as well as general highs and lows a person will experience throughout life.

My theory. She’s imagining this sequence in a state of euphoria while overdosing. In reality someone is giving her CPR. Probably while she’s getting pushed up and down by the choir. She see’s her dad briefly because she’s somewhere in between and that’s why he can see her and hold her for a moment before letting her go. Hopefully she ends up in a coma at the hospital, her favorite place. In the end credits we hear the birds and warm breeze, so I’m thinking she’s in a hospital room with the a/c on. Using her imagination 🙏🏽

There have been many reviews saying this isn't realistic to the teen experience, but, even though I'm way past High School, this was so close to my experience: I _was_ Rue. But Euphoria doesn't have to match your experience to be enjoyed because the dynamic writing, acting, cinematography, production, and music can't be denied. This one of the best shows on TV, and the fabulous Hunter and the inimitable Zendaya deserve an Emmy and a Golden Globe for their performances.

Love how Rue relapse ended as a music video. I mean you saw her struggles and how it affect her after losing her purpose of staying clear when Jules left her. I mean Zendaya's acting and performance was incredible, I just hope the third season of Euphoria gives us more detail and what happened after Lexi's play and more of Rue's sober self and her fixing her friendship with Lexi and the other characters.

She's not as put together as we think she is in real life, just my opinion, No shade. Its just something tells me she taps into real life pain, experiences to do some of her roles and songs. I look at some of her interviews and she seems a little disconnected at times. Some times you have to pull from that raw place, and let it be your muse.

im sad that neither this song nor the show is getting the recognition they deserve. Im not tryna bash other series, but 13 Reasons Why or Riverdale got nothing on this masterpiece. (I'm sorry, y'all are right, 13RW shows some really dark things that are actually happening in the world, but sometimes the show made me cringe (whenever Hannah appeared in S2). I mean it is produced by Drake and he even has the picture of Zendaya as his ig profile. There’s quite a lot of ads of scenes of Euphoria on RU-vid and other social media platforms. And there are even famous celebrities praising the actors for the roles on the show and watching it as well. I thought the same thing too until I actually laid out all the facts and saw that it’s does get a good amount of promotion, but as many other relevant series now, we just need to give it some more time to the point where more and more people will recognize this show for what it is...a masterpiece.
