@VacLab mine broke today, I took it apart low and behold it was a broken belt, my grandmother gave it to me I had no idea what to make of it. Thanks again.
I really like Eurekas from the 90’s and 2000’s. I’ve seen a few color variations of this Capture model. Growing up in 06, my parents had a similar model, the Eureka Altima. It was used heavily and not maintained the way it should’ve been but it lasted 6 years of heavy use until my dad decided to throw it out in favor of a Bissell Heavy Duty which admittedly was a better machine. The motor ran perfectly fine and it fared very well for a bagless Eureka considering it was cleaning up after 3 growing boys and 2 large dogs.
@@VacLab wow ok and at least you have it for your collection but it needs to be cleaned up because the dirt and you can put a dryer sheet on the HEPA filter to make it smell like Febreze
We have a Eureka Capture but the handle release pedal came off and I have the spring, I'm not sure how it goes back together. We found ours on Facebook. Is there anyway you could post a video of what the handle release pedal looks like when it works? Thanks! Ours has all the attachments and we gave it a thorough clean and new filters.
