I'm French, I know how hard it is to get into just one final of Euro or WC. So many teams have not done it or done it recently. My team has done it 3 times in the past 8 years, so no matter what they do in this one, I won't be disappointed at all. This being said, of course they have a chance to make it again in the final like a few other teams do. And like a few other teams they won't be easy to beat but nobody knows what's gonna happen and that's why we are not gonna miss this Euro.

Would love to see Nkunku in the squad, but it just might be a little early. Really strong squad though.

The only 2 things I can see stopping this French team are - 1. Themselves. Mbapp fails to show up? The defense (Which is potentially suspect) is not up t the task. 2. Germany in a final? For whatever reason Germany has always been France's kryptonite.

There is no B or C team... there is a Griezmann team or nothing.

Academies are excellent but don't underestimate the amount of players that France use who could and arguably should play for other national sides. ZZ, Thurman, Camavinga, Pogba, varane, mpabbe. The list goes on and on. All teams do it but France are head and shoulders the team with highest amount of such players. Trazeguey won the euros with a golden goal and then started dancing about with an Argentinian flag. Pele once said that an African team will win the WC by the year 2000. They did just that in 1998.
