I never got heavily into winter dredging, but when I went to Pulaski, the basic patterns like 12-14 peacock bodied nymphs , Hare's ears and Pheasant Tails outfished the big ugly stuff . As I mentioned before , I need to do your long level leaders and those copper head bead thingies to get a coherent drift in those deep pools . Hopefully without spending another 500.00 on an eleven foot rod , sigh. Tempted to hit the Farmy now to avoid the clown show , or is that year 'round there too? I need new waders, I keep seeing FB ads for chinese eight-Fans ones, do they suck, or is there a brand that's not $800.00? I figured you'd be the ultimate referral , you probably burn through 6 pairs a year.
oh here's a cool idea to prevent dying. Safety protocols for winter dredging. Some of my new modern techno- additions now include a dry box for your phone to call 911, or a Satellite 911 beacon thing . (These do exist). The patented D and D napalm based Fatwood Fire bundle , includes first round of KINDLING, (think about that for a sec) comes in a dry bag . with hot soup mix. lighteable even when your hands are immobilized. (speech activated!). Wading staff that doubles as emergency .22/fire blower/stoker... However, I would bet that most of your audience is still fighting age brazen young dudes , who are clearly invincible. So not sure if they'd like/share...

As for what worked for me all last winter was an Olive drab colored marabou bugger , pretty close to your River Soldier in color but I’ll be drifting and swinging your Soldiers next warmup for sure! Very good video that’s action packed despite having issues with your camera probably due to the cold temps. Kerry and you had an epic day in January! Multi fish days are not easy in warm weather but given these cold conditions you guys had a fantastic day! Give you guys so much credit in dealing with frozen hands,fingers and toes. They warmed up with all those hookups though I bet. Great job !
