Mine keeps crashing at 40th turn

How do you fix that? I spent hours on my Roman campaign and it just crashes everytime I want to go back and continue.

The big problem with EB imo is that due to all the unique units, the AI rarely ever retrains their units. This results in them having full-stack armies with just a bunch of soldiers instead of getting actually good veteran armies like in vanilla. Because in these cases you almost always outnumber armies despite them having full stacks. This makes the fights against them feel pretty unearned, not gonna lie. The ai also really struggles against the rebels, not engaging them due to their size because unlike a player they don't "know" that once they conquer this rebel province, even at a loss, they'll get their money's worth. Doesn't help that their full-stack armies barely have soldiers! Also some AIs like the Getai ans Lusitani seem to be programmed to stay in place as to not become world powers which I personally find quite boring. I'm currently back with RTW vanilla, modding a bit myself to nerf the Romans (only early cohorts post-reform, no praetorians, urbans, gladiators, arcani etc.) and make Carthage and Egypt more historical (carthage now will have ability to (re)train mercenary units. Egypt will have galatiam heavy swordsmen and phalanx pikemen as well as mercenary hoplites). I can't help but appreciate the vanilla's simplicity: Sure the armors/troops etc. aren't always historically accurate, but I prefer having one type of heavy cav I can retrain in every big city and get to silver chevrons instead of having 10 different ones that slowly dwindle once I move away from the territory they're recruited from.

@@couchpotatoe91 so it is more of a confused AI issue, I take it. Oh well, newer TW games truly show that more complex rarely equates to better. Good games should be easy to get a grasp on, yet hard to master, IMAO. Liked the touch with retrainable Carthaginian mercenaries, btw. Hope to see the fruits of your work in due time.

I calculated it would take about 60-80 Hours to do EBII. I agree, as I would have preferred to see that one, but I cannot add that time into it.

XD Same, I wanted to see the final epic stand off, but the game just could not handle it. I think Baktria would have taken it though.

Just search Europa Barbarorum and it should come up. Moddb download is best. The Mod itself is safe. (Of course don't click on the ads that surround the Mod.) It's probably the most well known Mod for Rome Total War. And it's second one EB2, for Medieval 2 is also good from what I hear.

Maybe for me 200th TimeLapse XD EB2 Would take me at least 80 Hours to make. (If I was to go 1000 turns that is)

I would have. But I already promised 5K sub special would be a TimeLapse showing the Journey of Aragon from the Lord of the RIngs - like the one I did showing the Journey of the One Ring or Alexander the Great.

About the names - I give them modern names - reason been 99.99% will understand Greeks and not Konion Hellenion. As for EB2, very unlikely. Maybe for a 10K Sub special or something, but even then it will take far too long and probably won't be worth it.

@@MelkorGG I can understand if you decide not to do so EB2 timelapse, but why do you think it wouldn't worth it? It's even more incredible than EB(1) , I think it would be a really interesting time puzzle... Btw. Konion Hellenion means something like "The council of Greeks" or "Hellenistic council", my problem with the name:"Greeks" is that it could mean almost any hellenistic nation (for explame: Pergamon, Seleulcids, Macedon, Epirus, Ptoemaoi, Greco-Bactria, Neo-Phrugia, Syracuse, Konion t. Achion (Achean league) , Aetonian league, Messalia, Kimmerios Bosphoros, Clochis, Cyrencia, Crete, Rodos, Sparta, Athens, Tarentum... etc.) And it's also inaccurate...

Sorry Konion Hellenion means more of :"Hellenic league", "Greek federation".... Apologises for miss translating at the first place...
