Some of the comments in the pod don’t gel together. At one point you doubt there’s a lot of criminals making 80knper year, but at same time we have 19 year olds being able to drop thousands in cash on designer clothes !

The mention of not bringing up history going back to the "penguin" Ha! I thought it was turning back 100*s of yrs. basically to clans/gangs and kings nobody ever heard of. in time in Ireland someone might see a reference to a gang called the Kinahans and all the other little clan/gang/warlords will be nothing to remember but they are what always has been. Powerful little groups coming together or taken over and becoming more powerful in their time. Battles become bigger with a more lucrative pot to keep FOOT SOLDIERS sweet and prevent them from muscling in and taking over the domain with more muscle. It's hard to hold back desire and greed. Street gangs are only a small scale wave but with a lot of potential especially when you see a world leader take supreme control of a country,. Give certain gangs very lucrative businesses commercial and otherwise demand loyalty to you or choose to take a short step off a tall multistorey building- and worse. Funny when you see the past manifest before you eyes today Big gangs/clans in business and in real-politic, religious orders blessing the foot solders, the operations, troops and weapons. Well, some dictators don't even allow religion where they feel the might not maintain a grip and suppress it like it's happing now and not so long ago in Ireland. - priests died etc. Meanwhile the wooing of other big kingdoms with the promise of "trade" and non interference - a blind eye to - .
