It was a challenging travel day starting with a rainy morning in Split, taking a prop plane to Zurich, then on to Venice where a confusing water taxi ride dropped us off to wonder through the maze known as Venice to find our apartment. But the reward is a great day of roaming through this amazing city, none quite like it anywhere else.
