Different strokes for different folks ig (I hate that expression lol) Some people like mouth sounds. Some prefer cleaner audio. I'm fine with both, depending on the extent
THIS is the kind of eating asmr that we need more of. Normal, soft sounds and eating like a normal person without the loud, exaggerated lip smacking or eating huge amounts very quickly
@@grilin18.it’s funny, cause the original Korean mukbang used to be just that. It was looked down upon to eat alone in Korea, so Koreans started making these mukbang videos so it feels like you were eating with a friend. Americans just took mukbangs, ran with it, and made it these horrible fast food eating videos
omg hi Gibi, i work in a Belgian candy store so this was really fun to see! The capital G mark on the cuberdons is for the brand “Geldhof” thats how you know you got the genuine ones and not a cheap knockoff 😉
@@blankness8I don’t think it’s a common association anymore for the whole of the U.K., but it is Scotland’s national animal. There are a lot of unicorns, and I mean A LOT, in our folklore and mythology, whether that’s Gaelic, Celtic or any of the other major folklore branches.
Dude I have been watching your channel since 2016/2017 (can’t remember exactly), but I love how you never have lost your passion for making videos. It is so entertaining and immersive watching (super impressive btw). Ugh can’t say I love it enough!!
as someone with misophonia, i really appreciate your approach to asmr:) there has never been a video of yours that i don’t enjoy and between new video uploads, i often find myself rewatching some videos or scrolling back to videos from a few years ago to see something new
@@TheMathematicsMaster001 it literally means hatred of sound. it basically makes it so certain sounds make someone extremely angry and can trigger fight or flight-like responses. it’s really hard to live with. i would google it for more information though, its hard to explain it to someone that doesn’t have it
16:45 the subtle tooth click was sooo good for some reason. Satisfying. Also as a European thank you for trying some of our candies. It’s easy to forget how novel it is for people outside of Europe. Especially since most ASMR muckbangs I’ve seen come from American and Asian creators.
she needs to do more of these lil mukbang videos 😭 also the fact that she says “i’m not used to chewing with my mouth open” THAT. THAT IS AMAZING. ITS THE MANNERS THAT MAKE GHIS VIDEO THAT MUCH BETTER
The light alcoholy ball was probably Eierlikör. It's an egg-milky-liquor and tastes sooo good. We put that in cakes here too and have it for Christmas 😊
Having heard you talk about your food anxiety/not being open to trying new/random foods cause of your sesame allergy, seeing you just bite into the mystery chocolates at the beginning I was so proud. Way to go Gibi! 🎉
i’ve always loved how “dry” or rather clean sounding gibi’s audio is. (aside from how creative, unique, and satisfying her vids are) but she is the ONLY person i can listen to eat candy and talk forever. it doesn’t make me wanna crawl out of my own spine 😂 edit: the mini sushi short right under this one made me laugh so hard i was like “ope did she really eat them in 60sec” 😂
I wonder if the green was matcha, the "coconut" looking one was passion fruit, the "rhubarb" was beets, and the "blueberry" was sour cherry? Those are my guesses based off your description 😊 Love the smiles and joy you give everyone!
I think rhubarb is a better guess for Germany. That's a common ingredient, beets not at all. Never seen beets as a candy ingredient here or even heard of it and also - why would they choose it? They taste of nothing but earth on their own.
Ahh!! I’ve been secretly hoping for another food video from you, ever since your mochi video from ages ago. I believe you mentioned you were never very comfortable eating on camera, but you are the best at it 🥰🥹🫶 So looking forward to watch this before bed tonight!
So little fun fact, those Cuberdons are made in my hometown Gent (or Ghent in English) which is where the ‘G’ on it comes from. In my town we actually had a ‘nose-war’ between two stalls on a small square that sell them of which ones were the real OG noses. I think it had to be settled in court that the guys had to stop the war, so to this day it is still undecided!
Such a good video! I usually don't like mukbangs because of the mouth sounds, but your take on it was perfect. I loved all the funny and relatable moments. 🤣
@@victoriazhu2185 it's kind of floral, I think it could be lavender but not too much so doesn't taste like soap, we make them fresh and they need to be eaten before they turn solid on the inside
Wow! Longtime listener from Belgium here. So awesome to see some our our famous sweets being featured! 😋 🍬Candy Factoid #1: marzipan is called "marsepein" in the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium. It is available all year round, but is mostly bought around early December as a treat for children for the annual Sinterklaas celebration. 🍬Candy Factoid #2: the cuberdons (in Dutch, "neuzekes"/little noses)- are also the subject of the now infamous"cuberdon war" in the city of Ghent, where two rivaling street vendors repeatedly clashed in public over their vending space. I'm sure you can find some (sad but hilarious) reports about it online. Very curious to hear about your experiences in Brussels/Ypres!🤩⬛🟨🟥
I love how you went to Belgium. The cuberdons are widely available over here, never realized they are not exported. We call the flying saucers either "flying saucer", "UFO" or "Hosties" (=dutch word for communion wafers)
I have been listening to ASMR for over a decade. I am so glad it is available on RU-vid and I do love your channel. I’m not a huge fan of Mukbang, but I am completely dissolved when there is a good gum, chewing ASMR video I would love that from you. 😊
I am a sucker for mouth sounds! Those cuberdons I could listen to you eat them for hours!! Thank you for sharing your candies with us! LOVED this video sooo much ❤
You trying the sweets at the start reminded me of my school trip when I was 12. On one of the days we went to a chocolate factory in Germany and got a chocolate tasting experience. I remember one of the chocolates had tea in it and we all thought it was gross! Though I think if I had it today I would love it. Looking back, I can say for sure the teachers definitely booked that one because they wanted to try the fancy chocolates ahaha. 12 year olds would’ve been happier with haribo from the grocery store lol.
I love how gibi not only make relaxing videos but they are also very entertaining personally this is one of the channels that I can very much enjoy and fall asleep to thank you gibi❤❤😊
I love this video!!! I don't know, but it is so tingly and enjoyable. I kinda like the way Gibi delicately tasted all the candies and shared with us what she felt and tasted. I feel like a very cute friend is talking to me. I can't help but focused on her every expression.
19:16 I had no clue this was purely a European thing! Those were my childhood haha. We call the sugar stuff sherbet here in the UK, there's alot of sherbet sweets/candy here :))
I ate a lot of Pico Ballas as a child because they used to be my mom's favourites ... And I often removed the thicker gummy outside and then enjoyed the soft, kinda fruity inside bits. Was messy, but loved it. Nice to see a candy lover enjoy the things you know! 😅 I really enjoyed this. I always wanna see mukbang videos but I need to turn them off when the sounds are too mouthy or when there is way too much food on the plates, so I really appreciate this minimalistic approach. I could watch more of this *hint*hint* Thinking about sending you some of my faves straight away 😅 thanks, Fräulein Gibi
this passed my misophonia mouth sounds test! congrats, you're like the second asmrist to do so :)! loved the wafers, we had them when I was younger vacationing on Cuttyhunk island in Mass, so it was like a little bit of summertime. ours had different colored sugar inside- so fun!!
Yesss so curious to see what candy you'll be trying! I know you've tried loads of German snacks with FastASMR, but I haven't seen you try that many others 🥰💖 Edit: you've been to Brussels? 😍 also: those pico bellas are the best snack candy! When you start, you can't stop. They're not that special, but I find them addicting 😅 Belgian noses I'm not too fond off even though I'm from Belgium. Fun fact, the flat wafers we call: Ufo's or Hosties 😊
I loved this video gibi and would love to see more !! You should try edible gems /crystals and do another mukbang on them , as they have the same texture as the last jelly cones you tried , I think you’d love them and they make great sounds !! 💗
Never been a fan of mukbang videos or sounds! HOWEVER... This is done in such a tastful way for me personally, not over played, even to the point of Gibi covering her mouth. So polite. A mukbang vid i would happily watch and listen to again. Cudos! Ps love the 'bllind taste testing' me trying fo guess what the flavours would be before you describe ❤❤ Love love as always x
As a german i was happy to see marzipan my Oma always gets it for us around Christmas time. me and my cousins love it!!!! and my aunt, uncle and two cousins brought those saucers back from alberta (im still in canada) and i love them
NGL the fact that you never really do Mukbang is the reason I look forward to your stuff but not gonna down what others like. Plus the Minimal Mouth Sounds really helped.
You should come to Finland if you thought Germany has a lot of variety on candy. We are crazy with candy. Every supermarket in Finland has this thing called "irtomakeiset" which means you can choose all kinds of candy and fill a bag with them. I don't know how to explain it better in English. Don't know if any other Nordic countries have the same thing.
Hi Gibi, awesome video, I cant go a day without watching this video, very calming, 😴😴😴 half way through, then repeat when I wake up in the middle of the night😅, keep it up 👏👏❤🌺🩷
Bro, this video was so dope. It was so relaxing to hear you're making muckban for the first time. Keep making those great videos Gibi, I love every video you make no matter what theme it is.😊
this made me think about that daisy maid cafe video and I momentarily forgot that that is one of gibis videos and not a different channel and person entirely- her acting and characters are so good I forgot daisy isn't just a different real person
12:42 "And I set it up like those REAL mukbangers.' *Gibi 5 seconds later* "This is such a reasonable amount of food, it looks funny." We love you Gibi😭🖤
I like how Gibi doesn’t have to make her asmr weird or a muckbang where she cries on camera (much like another RU-vidr)Bro,Gibi is the chillest Asmrtist I have ever seen
At least this will be a mukbang i can enjoy. It’s good to see candy being eaten in a mukbang rather than tentacles, shrimp or other seafood. Usually thats ones i have seen before at least. I would love more mukbang asmr on this channel.
My whole childhood my Poppop called me sugar pig and never understood where that come from and he’d never explain. I’m today years old finding out it’s candy 🥴😂
Gibi: "Haribo macht Kinder froh..." My brain, instantly: "...und Erwachsene ebenso!" Glad that the Haribo ad officially includes us grown-ups being happy about candy too. :D
Gibi is the 1st and only person I've ever heard say something positive about mukbangs. That being said, before the eating starts, im off to a different video.
We have those candy wafers in Sweden, and we call them flygande tefat or flying saucers in english. They used to be really popular in like the 90's and early 20's, I remember always having them on birthday parties when i was a kid
Omg you tried Cuberdons! They’re also called “Neuzekes” as they’re supposed to resemble noses! You either hate them or love them, there is no inbetween
