IF AFRICA CAN'T HAVE VETO POWER MY QUESTION IS WHY ARE AFRICA THERE? AFRICA NEEDS TO THINK TWICE ABOUT TAKING UP A SEAT WITH NO SAY OR VETO POWER OVER THEIR COUNTRY AFFAIRS. IT'S TIME FOR AFRICA TO RETHINK THEIR ROLE AT THE UN. SLAVERY DAYS ARE GONE STAND UP AND DEMAND VETO POWER. IF AFRICA CAN DO WITH OUT THE UN LEAVE JOIN BRICS IT MIGHT HELP BETTER YOUR COUNTRY.
Do not go back and remember who you are. Just be what we told you you are. Do not try to be like us. Just be what we want you to be, and everything will be fine. Please forget your culture and learn what we tell you. In fact, let me change from one colonial language to another one imposed to you because I need you to understand. In Europe, we have monarchs and princes for stability, but you need democracy so we can control and change regimes as we please. We do understand that without Africa, we are nothing, but we have to be in control of the world because we are European.
I dont know why our head of states will keep making us Africans look less as humans by beging to belong to the UN. We need to organise, unit, ourselves and with determination, we will thrive without belonging to the UN.

You're right, Africa just get out of UN. The message is that Security council and UN agencies have been working against Africa or developing world. UN not needed. Focus should be on African United Nations. Africa has resources, good friends to stand on their own.

Africa has no issue with female education thats the Mideast. Ukraine tried joining nato, but it was agreed at the end of the soviet union, they would never do that.
There should be a representative country of every continent in that council. Can't have a disproportionate representation of one continent and expect there won't be an extreme power imbalance. Anyway, Africans shouldn't be so pressed. Governments don't need the security council's permission to wage wars on their neighbors or perceived enemies. Look what's happening around the world at the moment? I'm wondering if Veto power is meant to prevent wars between themselves. Because it's not stopping proxy wars and invasions of other countries. But even this "gentleman's agreement" seems to be hanging by a thread at the moment. Seems the best security is to have your own big guns, technologically advanced military complex and a unified regional security cooperation. However, I bet if all African countries decided to walk away from the UN tomorrow, they'd offer that seat real quick. If it ever comes to that, which African country would be a worthy choice to represent the rest of the continent? I think either Tanzania or South Africa. What would be your choice? As for all these conditions that are required for this precious membership, the Security council needs to look at itself in the mirror. They'll see their own horrific human rights violations being committed all over the world in their never ending wars to control everything.
