Wonderfull 🚅 don't you all enjoy railroad 🚈 trams, trains etc are just so cool 🚞 take a ride in my ''transportation'' folder, (folder 2 in my playlists) :)
looks like this train is the bigest hype right now! well thank you for the review, I hope I will be able to try it myself sometime later this or next year. But true is that available reviews range inbetween "this is super" to "this is horrible retro" 🙂
I know it's early days, but I'm concerned about the lack of passengers. Sole use of a 5-berth couchette is not a good sign. I'm due to ride the full route in May in a sole-use sleeper so I hope they have better patronage by then.
I made full filming use of being alone from Brussels to Antwerp, where 1 more passenger got on. Then in Amsterdam at 22:30 3 more got on. Full compartment. All but me got off in Berlin, so I’m then alone to Prague, on the first train to go beyond Berlin. Total 400 passengers on board. You mustn’t always take what you see at face value!
Interesting video. We were in Germany last week and made day trip from Dresden Hbf to Prague. We were on Czech coaches which were comfortable but at least 20 years old. It’s not fast alongside the Elbe. We lost 20 minutes on outward journey due to unexplained issues. Far worse on way back. We lost 20 minutes and then train ‘died’ at last station. We got back to Dresden 2 hours late. Worth travelling by train to Prague but timekeeping leaves a lot to be desired. No delay repay either!
Another excellent video! Thank you Mark. Your status as the godfather of this art form is clearer every day, as more of your disciples/followers name you in their own videos.
A nice train and a nive video! Thank you. Only a shame that European Sleeper still provides water in the most environmental unfriendly packaging there is😥
@@kolejpolskaIn a way I find It strange when a company profiles itself as the environmentally friendly alternative and then offers you the most environmentally unfriendly bottle.
Hello there! I am a nearly 66 year old female with some dodgy bits about the body and use a walking stick. I would like some advice please on how to get where I want to go with the minimum of fuss! Tall order I know but such is life ! For some time now, I have wanted to travel throughout Italy by train but obviously not during the high summer months due to heat and crowds. Also, I do not want to travel throughout the night as I would miss all the lovely scenery! I know the routes I may need to take such as Eurostar from St Pancreas to France and onwards from there. But I should like to stop over at a various places near the stations so if anyone can give some guidance I would be grateful. I am more than happy to consider all or any routes with detours if necessary. And if there is a European Rail Card which one would I need. Thanking you in anticipation, kind regards from Boadicea. Safe travels to all. 🙋🇮🇪🏴🙏🙂
Several channels. I watch on RU-vid reference this channel. Do you only speak to camera if your actually SIT in seat 61? I'd rather hear your insight to your travels.
I took this train this June from Prague to Amsterdam for an morning flight to Dallas. I was really looking forward to this taking a sleeper cabin with my wife and son. However, it was almost a complete disaster. It was a hot summer day and the cabin lacked any air conditioning. They said that they would try to fix it, but that never happen. The temperature in the room was like a sauna. There was no way any of us could sleep. My wife is from Kiev and she said that the cabin was so old that it made the one she used in the early 1990's seem modern. To add to the misery, the train was more than one hour late getting into Amsterdam meaning we now had only 90 minutes to get from the downtown station to the airport instead of 3 hours. We just made the flight. Maybe with working air conditioning and being on time would have made the trip better, but I can't recommend this train.
Awesome video as always, thanks for putting it together for us! With the sh*tshow OBB/DB are putting on with the NightJet, I have a feeling EuropeanSleeper is going to get a lotttt of customers.
On paper, ÖBB has more clout and experience and Nightjet has the newer equipment. But you're right, European Sleeper seems to me to be a fairly robust operation, between the Paris and Brussels, Vienna and Berlin portions, the Brussels-Berlin Nightjet seems to be much less reliable.
I remember in the old days (late 90s, early 2000s) the overnight trains were notorious for thieves somehow getting into rooms and stealing bags. What about these days?
@@merfymac You are exactly the person that should be watching the torture of farm animals. You should see what you support. But you won't you'll just be a snarky a******.
lol. The entire world doesn’t have to cater for every dietary choice. PS: milk comes from a mammal. There is no such thing as milk from a plant. It’s plant liquid and water.
I think they have no nutrient options for food. It's called sticking your head out the window. However in the countryside you might inhale a cow fart. Which is an animal product. See your "not on this planet" practitioner, urgently, after your psychiatrist, obviously. Pip pip.
Technically it's plant solids and water, but calling it milk makes it easier to identify what it is used for, and it fits better on the package. Plus it has a milky look to it. If we were to be purist with language, it would also be wrong to call ground and heated peanuts peanut butter.
