Thank you for that insight. We hope to go over to France for the first time next year so it’s good to get an idea of costs when going over. Obviously they will be different costs but it gives an idea. We aim to start next year in France and build up confidence to try further afield. I like the look of Italy.

Hi, have followed your journey and glad you went to Interlaken area it’s stunning. Very interesting totals to show the costs and like you we are also keeping a log as we are away for 8 weeks . Presently in Spain via France but agree you averaged £104 per day all in which is a real bargain compared to holidays in Britain. Anyway look forward to your next video and glad you are both still enjoying motorhoming . 👍

Hi Jim and Kay hope your well. I wanted to ask what cover insurance and breakdown you use as we're looking around and trying to get repatriation if fall ill as partner is only driver and have a dog as well Thanks Pauline 😊

Hi Pauline, we had red pennant from the caravan and motorhome club, but I was so disappointed in the end, they were good at the beginning, but failed to pay out the insurance over some small print. We are now with Avanti and have European cover and also cruise cover for a year. Cost around £400 pa and that’s with my heart failure and Kay’s heart block. Breakdown is with my insurance caravan guard. Not had to use it yet, but had good communication with them so far. Give them a call and ask all the questions you need to answer. Hope this helps 😉

I have this one, it’s been brilliant, we can usually get WiFi everywhere, the SIM card is for motorhome and you get 100g for £20 also you get the full allowance in Europe with no speed cap. ZTE MU5120 - the most powerful... www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0C37FRYV5?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Iqmobile for the SIM card. Hope it helps.

@jennyanderson6023 I know it’s a little on the expensive side, but it will last for years being 5g. Another one I used which was very good was HUAWEI Mobile WiFi E5785 Model: E5785 - 92c it’s only 4g but very reliable and a lot cheaper. Still have a look at the iqmobile SIM card you can pay month by month and break any time and just use when you need to. Make sure the WiFi is sim free so you can put any SIM card in to it. @jennyanderson6023 yes you can jenny, you get the full package and no restricted speeds. We found it to be brilliant, a signal wherever we went. I always get the 100gb for £20 and it last the month. At the end of the month you need to top up again if required, but try to do it the day before at least so you don’t go without. 👍
