ZiBBZ sang very well for Switzerland. They were so good and their no-qualification is a crime. Perfect staging and perfect singing.

Lost And Found's staging was the biggest crime. They killed my favorite song. But probably wouldn't have ever done better than Fuego's improval.

You forgot the juries slaughering AWS. They almost made them not qualify which is a shame also for Eurovision in general because it is for every style of music and juries are trying to exclude some genres...

The biggest crime is that a lot of the material was (and still is) blocked for a lot of countries; is the first time I could not get over Eurovision by watching the performances on RU-vid; we still can't, and I'm really pissed off about that fact.

My biggest crime is discovering that San Marino uses a fake televote because the have the same line of my country Italy,having to listen for the second year in a row to incompetent commentators during the semifinals (I don't know why we can't have the same ones of the GF for all the shows),SuRie's stage invasion,Greece and Belgium out,my country being robbed by the juries with such a beautiful message,France not getting at least top 10,Estonia not getting top 5,Sweden being overrated for the 4th year in a row and Filomena Cautela,that should've got a bigger role because she is amazing!

My crimes are Macedonia poorly staging their amazing song and Bulgaria not getting top 10.

Looking back on last year, what I consider the biggest crimes: (In no particular order) - SuRie's stage invader - Portugal ending in last place in the final - Switzerland not qualifying for the final - North Macedonia's performance, staging and vocal performance alike - Sweden's jury score - The first semifinal being about 5 times as strong as the second one - Ukraine getting last with the juries

My biggest crime is that people act as if Cyprus getting 2nd place is not an amazing placement. Yeah she didn't win but come on, 2nd place is an incredible achievement. Netta deserved to win, and Eleni getting 2nd place is very well deserved. End of discussion.

Sweden was boring. Too mainstream. I was shocked by the high discrepancy between televote and jury for Sweden. For me the Swedish song gave me nothing musically.

Biggest crimes for me: Switzerland didn't qualify, juries overrating Sweden and Albania being underrated by the televoters.

My personal biggest crime is Switzerland failing to qualify. I would have left out Lithuania to make room for the Swiss, but the semi was so strong, it's sinful that a mere 10 songs became finalists!

I actually think it's a problem for the show in general, that for people who see the performance for the first time doesn't get some songs content and intentions, for example, Azerbaijan about her dead husband and Hungary about the front singers dead father. In Sweden the commentators just said about Hungary: it's about death and they are screaming... and about Ukraine only focusing about Mélovins make up made him look like a vampire... I think it would be nice if the "postcards" could include both something about the host country and the performer, even if the commentators babbling something fun about it, you will still get the chance to come closer to the artist.

I am here 3 years late but I need to say this. I am a big fan of Benjamin (Sweden) and listen to his songs after the contest but the jury overrated him a lot while the televotes underrate him. In my opinion, realistically, he would finish around 10-15 position considering the songs that finished around that spot.

The biggest Eurovision Crimes were: Ukraine (Last by the Jury? 17 place? Wtf) He should have entered the Top 10 at least !! Voice, music and performance, All Perfect !!! Italy (17 place with The Jury, Seriously?) A song with such a beautiful message and sung with such mastery! Thank God there was the Televote to be fair to them! Switzerland (They not qualifying for the final was so unfair) The power of ZIBBZ's performance and their music will forever be remembered !! Bulgaria in 14 place was Super unfair too!! They deserved so much better with that Amazing song and voices!! But perhaps the biggest crime is that Songs like Sweden and Australia end up so high in the Ranking thanks to the Jury, over quality songs and creative songs, which is what Eurovision seeks is not it? I like the songs, but they are much generic! Israel brought something almost unheard of and super exciting, so it won !! Ukraine, Italy, Bulgaria, France, Switzerland, Greece, Malta, Hungary, Denmark!! This is new!! This is Eurovision!!

However I voted Italy this year because it had a very strong message that I guess a lot of people fellt or heard about from commentators. I did not plan to vote for it but on the night it touched me! Regarding Sweden. I think it's a big plus for the team and Benjamin that his performace looked as if it was filmed for some people. But it was a real time performance. What to say more. Great job!!! He was one of my favorites in ESC 2018.

If it was 4 men hosting no one would bat an eyelash. There were 3 white male hosts in Kyev in 2017 (and no female hosts) yet Deban didn't have a problem with their "diversity". But when it's 4 women - which is historical, never before did we have a female only cast, it's all of a sudden an issue of "diversity". Deban, just say you're misogynistic and go.

This is the first time I comment on the subject, despite having followed the drama from the beginning. When Salvador, last year, spoke about all the stuff about fast-food music, the first thing that comes to my mind it is not the genre of the music, but rather the process of making a song. Then I remember a documentary that I saw that was speaking about a music program that create "songs". If I remember correctly it said that for each 30 "songs" created, only one was enjoyable (sorry i don't remember the title of that documentary). That is what I call fast-food music, when most part of the process of making music, cames from a machine and not from human criativity. So basically, when I heard people said that Netta's song was a fast-food music, i do not agree. Just because a song is kinda pop/techno with a accelerated rhythm, that doesn't mean that it hasn't a soul, as long it is created with passion. And let me say it, I didn't like Netta's song. I liked it for a couple of hours and then I got tired of it. But I would never call it a fast-food song considering that Netta is a great artist and the amount of criativity that she has. Btw, i like Salvador's work, despite his personality ahah, and i apreciate that kind of music better (sorry, it is my taste), but i never agreed with his speach on the final, if he meant in that way, of course. Music, the same way human beings, comes in diferents ways. And for each way there will be at least one person who will love that type of music, and for me it is enough :) bye p.s. i cannot wait for 2019 yay!!!

Actually Sweden was fast food music and Australia was just a horror show as far as I am concerned. Had it been down to me to decide I wouldn't have any of them in the final. But I totally agree that Finland, Ukraine and Italy were robbed ( Italy and Ukraine by juries and Finland by... practically everyone)!

As a portuguese and because here we see more intervews with Salvador, I can say that he is a very genuine person and he doesen't say the right thing, he say what he thinks about it. He was just making their point about Neta's song and I think that if more persons was genuine like him we make a better place because we would not have to pretend to have an opinion that was not our true opinion only to our point appear correct for society. That's just my opinion... Thanks.

Regarding Salvador, there’s a difference between being honest and disrespectful. His comments about Netta’s song and especially his speech after winning in Kyiv show that he has little to no respect for any style of music other than what he considers ‘real’ music. Eurovision is about inclusion, it’s an event where every genre of music is welcome and celebrated, and his nonchalant attitude after winning (when he almost dropped the trophy, for example) and bashing ‘fast food music’ was quite disrespectful.

The moment when salvador handed the trophy over, that was awkward to watch 😂

The biggest crime for me was that I couldn't vote in Semi 2 because of technical problems in Italy. Speaking in general, how about juries underrating Georgia so much?? Their song was great and particular, and well performed. I'm still upset about that last place! And about Italy, I don't think our current political situation would impact much on a possible Eurovision hosting (or at least I hope so)

'Stripped - Christina Aguilera style' 😂 In terms of the results, the biggest crime for me was Finland coming 25th 😔 🇫🇮 And also Bulgaria and France getting such average results in the Grand Final, they all deserved at least Top 10 results in my opinion! Organisation-wise, the biggest crime was the EuroVillage on Grand Final night - we queued for 4 hours both to get in and to get a drink in the scorching sun, it was horrific! P.s sorry y'all I know you love him but Salvador is SUCH a snob 😂 One of my highlights was seeing him have to hand the trophy to Netta haa, fast food all day long! 👏

I agree with the number two crime. They will need to triple their security for future competitions by tasing a stage invader before they even get on the stage and to be automatically sentenced to six months in local jail.

Finland and Ireland qualifying instead of Switzerland and Greece is a huge crime. Qualifiers like these just make a contest look like a circus.

Biggest crimes for me in no order: 1. The first semi final being so much stronger than the second and causing many more deserving acts to not qualify while bad acts from the second semi made it. 2. The juries snubbing Ukraine 3. Surie’s stage invasion 4. The horrible staging and styling for FYROM and Belgium causing two amazing songs to not qualify 5. China’s homophobic censorship 6. The whole Russian act. I went from hating Yulia to feeling bad for her, you can tell her team didn’t support her properly Also, I think it’s overdramatic to criticize the hosts for lack of diversity. It’s literally just four people, diversity is important but you don’t know who was available or eligible to host

I thought Jon Ola Sand discussed #9 in a video. Every country would receive some amount of votes. It isn't the strict 12, 10, 8-1 points system for the judges/televote. Every country would receive at least 1 point. It would just be weighted differently than in previous years.

This video was just delightful! I was sad Germany and Netherlands didn't much better. Sad about Ireland - I would have been thrilled if she WON the whole thing! And Sweden. I know everyone thought it was generic or paint by numbers, but I thought it was inspiring and I live Tusse! I hope we see him in the future with a more original song. 💕

Another thing folks.. can we please stop using Petra Mede as a hosting standard! Yes she slayed twice but give these other hosts a break! The ladies were fine, the green room lady was the best of the bunch. I concentrate more on the music, not the hosts.
