Also the whole premise of the trolling seems to be "2 fairly regular guys pretending to be a conservatives' nightmare, oblivious to the fact that they stand out", which is so refreshing, as it seems to have 0 mean spirit
it's been such a long time since I last saw young people like these guys be so cleverly political, sarcastic etc. Gotta love these guys or hate will prevail.
"But I don't see any color.." Matti: "No no, there's color. It's there..it's right there. It's emotional color" 😂 like something out of a Monty Python sketch.
@@slitherzither Yeah, I'll remember that. Finally solved a question I always wanted a good answer for. Because I've never had an answer to that question - bc there's none. I don't know why I do wear so much black tbh
I just love it when Matthias stares right to my soul through camera in 4:11 and says "Eurovision is supposed to be a non-political event" like yeah, sure. Cracks me up everytime.
@NobleGuyWho's talking about politics? I'm talking about the interviewers inability to detect their sarcasm and his lack of good responses. Clearly he can't follow them. A competent interviewer has to be able to pick up nuances. They're not on the same level.
@@wolfthegentleman7607 WELL, don't seems so, I'm saying it again, really don't seem so, even though if they're cousins, all of them are slay-boyz, gays or likely bi-pride-broz/or pan-pride-broz, now they got themselves a wife and newborn kids, that's how it's in THIS ACTUAL reality of our/ and of an analysis .. @@kristinab9103 WELL, girl, to burst your utterly naiveminded,lalalala-fantasy-thinking, non-constructively critical and non-analytical bubble, it don't seems so,like at all, I'm saying it again, really don't seem so, even though if they're cousins, all of them are slay-boyz, gays or likely bi-pride-broz/or pan-pride-broz, now they got themselves a wife and newborn kids, that's how it's in THIS ACTUAL reality of our/ and of an analysis .. Man, as the interview went on, the mood gradually changed from super silly to extremely deep and political. These guys play dumb so cleverly in the beginning... but by the end of the interview I would have voted for them not only in the Eurovision Song Contest, but in the Euro Parliament Elections next week!! Matthías would make a great EU Commission President.
they are sarcastic because they're tired of interviewers asking the same question all the time. They are similar to our Zala and Gašper, they were giving the same answers full of sarcasm. Thats also the reason why they got along so well and actully became friends on Eurovision contest which is not that common because of all the chaos and nervousnes.
@@Niall69Irish so rekli na enem intervjuju da so se najbol ujeli z njimi in San Marinom ker usi hočejo "spremenit" kar je eurovizija postala (ta kič in glamur) in je useem useeno za te intervjuje haha
As a Belgian, this is as socially awkward as I would have expected lol. Hearing Klemens talk about growing up in Brussels, imagining them as teens chillin in the parc, makes me so happy
so much respect for these guys, i'd love to be their friend they seem like great guys you could have a proper chat with! Eurovision needs more unafraid acts like them! Just a shame this interviewer didn't really get their humour haha
"Anti-capalist Bondage Synth Punk" - this is new to me. I didn't watch Eurovision, but this interview is comic genius - especially the guy that looks like a young Chrisopher Walken. :D :D :D
@@emilia487 If you're born in Belgium you can ask for the nationality. If Iceland wins Flanders will claim them as a Flandrien and Brussels as Brusseleir. They need a Nobel peace prize for killing Capitalism 💱💰💸📉
when Matthias said the thing about them being controversial for pointing things out, that are already there, you can really see the disappointment in his eyes that the damn interviewer doesnt get it lmao
I am not into their scene, but I high key *respect* them for speaking truth to power. Israel is a fascist apartheid regime and it needs to be said more often. Especially by people who have no stakes in it.
😂😂😂😂 their sarcasm kills me. “We like to wear colors for happy occasions!!!👀” Interviewer: “But I don’t see any colors!?!🤨” hahahahaha Boy, that’s the point! 😉
I personally own three spike collars including one that probably was made for a dog.Three spike handbags.Three spike boots one of which is entirely made of Latex my wellies ha ha never go out unprepared! Three hand spikes and a few chunky chains with vampire teeth and skeleton jewelery I have to polish all of these regularly
I’m really surprised that a journalist from Belgium doesn’t make the obvious connection between Hatari and the Belgian ground breaking act Front 242. :-o
You know what? Maybe the answer Matti gave to the "controversial act" question is highkey true. They seem controversial cause they openly pointed out the contraddiction🙄 Please guys win
What's the contradiction here? That Israeli people are second class people for them and should not host this event? Who are they to determine which country should or should not host?? Every country have conflicts and problems, but I guess it's easier to hate and blame Israel for everything. Same old hypocrisy from them- preaching about love, while spreading hate and division. Btw israel already hosted twice before they were even born...
@Thought for Food how ironical, you talk about one sided, and you're the one being one sided and ignorant about the whole conflict. Firstly learn history, and learn some facts, it was never "Palestine" land, that region was called Palestina (a name given by the Romans), it was never an Arab land, they're invaders from Arab countries. Israel is the one suffering from terror and missiles from Gaza which is held under a brutal terror regime. And there are TWO sides for this endless conflict, two sides that suffers, Israeli People are also dying because of terroristic acts and of course no one gives a shit in Europe, for you it's always the Jews to blame. So When you take sides and think you know better than the people who actually live there, you make a fool of yourself and you just sounds like a biased hater
@@GPBKM ahahha They're masters xD Everything is about sarcasm, irony. They claim to be anti-capitalists but at the same time they're eating at McDonalds and they all are from a wealthy families soooo.. They're pretty smart guys. That's why I'm so amazed by them.
@@THMM92 They are not only (mega) assholes, they are also brain dead. they take part in the most capitalistic show in the world to promote themselves. I wonder why those spoiled little brats don't move to socialist Venezuela or north korea and give away the shit load of money they make to the hungry over there! so we can all know they practice what they preach. but apparently they don't mind living in a country that got BILLIONS from the intl community , following their personal economic crisis. I guess it's really comfortable to scream "against capitalism" for P.R , but living of "free money" when you screw up. And these are just examples of how "genuine" they are.
I was wondering whether he had spent time in Scotland, actually, because he seems to have quite a bit of Scottish in his accent when he speaks English.
Damn this guy he doesnt know that Black is all colors yes they are right they are wearing all colors at once I always say that to dumb people to tell a Goth like me to wear more color and Yes thats my happy color its not a depressive clothing choice!!!!!!Also Valkyria Armor Make UP
Alors re - TWELVE POINTS !!
Yeah that was quite the good surprise X) Would be great to see them perform here in Brussels someday. Events or places such as Magasin 4 or Coalescaremonium (which's big events were held right next to 50naire ) might wish to host them someday, perhaps?
yes, ask someone if they are the most controversial. perfect logic and phrasing. and eat your banana, or you won't have enough strength to hold the mic up to your interviewees mouths. at least 2 people in the shot were worth listening to (when we heard them).
Welp who knew that it would take a small (in population) country like Iceland to give the middle finger to Israel. The rest of the world knows what Israel is doing to the Palestinians and that Israel is getting all the help from the west. Especially from the US and its allies.
Th Israeli government has much room for improvement however don’t be blindsided by the media's version of the Palestinian issue. There is a great deal more to it and the Palestinian admin in both the West Bank and Gaza are an absolute disgrace. They treat their citizens appallingly. Particularly Hamas in the Gaza. Those people. Live in fear of their so-called government. The media can not report the complete story due to coercion tactics from Hamas officials. The IDF for all their criticism have actually done a great deal to protect and rescue Gazan citizens from that terrorist organisation. If only people could just stop hating and move forward to a healthy outcome.
Does "the world" knows what Palestinians do to Isarelli civilians? (hint - murder inocent woman children and babys and bomb them with missiles) True story you ignorent Antisemi jerk
