Yes! I’ve seen so many people saying: ‘I am missing that Croatian ethnicity’, but never look for ‘ethnicity’ in Swedish, Belgian, Spanish... songs. Plus, ethnic sound just are not popular.
@@MJIAG I agree. Ethnicity is not working, and Croatia took a very long time to learn that. This is the year things are very much different, I hope this is the trend we'll be seeing in the future. Fresh and modern songs, not some cheap copies of previous winner with ethnicity thrown into it.
I understand fans favourite was Nina going in But to me Albina was always my clear favourite and tbh the right song won. This to me is Croatia’s best song in a long time for me because I rarely talk about Croatia from past eurovisions. We barely get a bop from Croatia until now and I am super happy. This is current, it’s radio friendly and the chorus is just so catchy Well done Croatia
A fun fact that maybe some of you will find interesting. The author of the song is Max Cinnamon, a 19 years old British kid. His father is from GB and his mother is from Karlovac, a town in Croatia near our capital town Zagreb. Greets from Croatia ;)

I love and appreciate everything you said after watching Tick-Tock. It's like some people care more about country from where is the singer than song they are listening to. It is really hard for us Croats to decide which song we want to send because it sometimes feels like everything we send apparently lacks something and is not good enough. Once again, I am thankful for those words!

I’m always down for all Croatian! I think it would be more interesting to a lot of people but, then again, maybe her artistic vision doesn’t goes in a different direction. It’s interesting to think about.

I really don’t like the beginning. Feels a separated part from the rest of the song. However, from the moment the pace picks up I like it. Specially the chorus. Really like the Croatian part! Could be more.
My favourites were Albina, Toma and Mia.. Ella was also good and she had good song, but something was missing on the stage. Pity for her :(( But I am happy that Albina won 😊 Greetings from Cro 🇭🇷🇭🇷

I’m happy she won! She was one of my favorites before NF and she definitely put a great performance to elevate the song. Unlike Ella, who gave us major go girl, give us nothing vibe lol. That was really disappointing, because I really liked her song also. Nina was great too, so I would be happy either way, with her or Albina winning.
So quick to do a reaction video! I don’t think there will be a Croatian bit for Eurovision. I feel like it was included to allow for the public that don’t know English to understand too. Her extended play for this song has already been released and there is a song of this called ‘Dora version’ which is what we hear in this video but regular version is just in English. Thanks again for supporting Croatia!
On the snippets reaction, I said it's Nina or Ella for me. But the live performance completely changed my mind. I really like Albina - Tick Tock now, and the staging is amazing. Nina - Rijeka was honestly a let down 🙁 Also, I don't know what happend with Ella on that live performance. Makes me a bit sad, because she has an amazing voice pared with a really good and catchy song, but it didn't deliver.
I need a revamp to get the excessive basicness out of this but then it could be a moment. A few more sounds instead of the consistant Maruv - Bang trumpet. A richer production.
The choreo needs a little improvement, just polish it to perfection.. but she was the only one who we could actually send off without making any changes
Nina is from other dimension... Bernarda was my second...other songs are nothing special, songs what you can hear everyday on radio, pop song and balades
I watched video clip. Song polished a bit. However the main issue in that song was not that amateur production. Lyrics , melodie, main structure. Everything is cheap. Can you change a slum to a palace by painting its walls? Oh no oh no oh noo
Think his performance slayed but I am glad Croatia are sending a modern bop. They send ethnic and get no points and when they don't everyone slates them for not being ethnic.
Bernarda was out of tune. Iam surprised that people overlooked that. Nina now claims that everything was against her. People who tried to vote for her, didn't got call through. Also jury gave Nina very low points and she new she lost it. Albina is just ok, generic song.
