God I remember that song in the Eurovision I was 14 ,great song of it's time loved the words to that's what friends are for,,the Eurovision before the late 80s was entertaining then but it wasn't the same after that even Terry wogan r,I,p,said the same and someone else took his place,but have to say the song's that won from the late 60s_70s +early 80s were good,but it wasn't the same anymore ,to many music competitions like American idle Britain's got talent and the voice took over and that's when the goodness of great times of old time talent as the Eurovision ended pity,
Swarbriggs were songwriters of great songs They wrote for lots of famous people they are still alive and well Comparing Jedward to them is way way out of touch they were real talented guys
I presume that you, just as I do, like JSF as well as the ESC . Aa you have so many JSFs from the 60s out of the ARD archives on your YT account...... Do you know if ARD kept ESCs from the 60s too? Especialy ESC 1964?
