Simply great. A very elegant logo ... A trilobite that suggests not only the maritime theme but above all the return to the origins, the origins of the most simple and beautiful in the world of Eurovision: true music. Thank you Portugal.
I just love the way Portugal is taking oceans to the scene. We need to have this kind of public positioning, talking about important resources that mass media don't really care and remembering the importance of the entire ecosystem. Proud to be Portuguese.

For those of you who are criticizing the logo because it's a sea shell, I advice you to learn more about Portugal's History with the sea... Eurovision has always been about showing each country's personality and originality but sadly that objective has been ignored in the past few years. So basically this logo is a fresh return to the good old days, with Portugal showing its own History: the sea It's a very meaningful logo for us portuguese and that should make sense to all of you
Nathalie Ferreira Diamandis nothing "wrong" about the Oslo 2010 logo, just plain and simple spheres... that look cheaper than this one. I just don't understand why a lot of people is so keen on talking sh*t about everything that Portugal is doing for ESC2018

I am Portuguese and i really like the slogan and the logo. Both connect really well with Portugal and at the same time the slogan has the slight cheessiness of ESC. The logo is for me the best thing. Very simple and original ... so different from what we've already seen in ESC. I love the inovation in simplicity and good taste Portugal is bringing to ESC. All this presentation video is so original and well made, very well done RTP and ESC. As a portuguese ESC fanboy i'm really happy till now.

It's all about the sea: the long history of Portugal and the oceans...theme also for Expo 98, where Meo arena it's now located (btw, the real name of Meo Arena it's Atlantic Pavilion), not only you will see water everywhere in Nations Park (and not only the tagus river), but as well the rooftop of Meo Arena...it represents a horseshoe crab! It have all sense the theme: sun and the oceans. And the slogan? An invitation to or start of a travel, but also to portuguese well know diplomacy (''All'')

Sim! Eu achei o conceito muito giro e, como portuguesa, foi bastante nostálgico. Mas sim, ninguém vai perceber e o inglês dele não é o mais perceptível.
The slogan is something different from previous contests.now the logo always has something to do with the culture,history,nature etc. of the host country.So just stop complaining.
Im a designer and im cringing so hard at the harsh comments. I can say that this logo is not perfection itself but it works and the design/brand overall its genius. It represents the history of portugal. They litteraly created a brand for the country. its very good
I guess that was the purpose. That voice actor has been narrating nature documentaries for decades. His voice is really iconic and unmistakable. It was a bit shocking hearing him speak in english. haha
Я считаю слоган не корректным. Ведь на борту далеко не все. Это как минимум неуважительно в сторону Турции, Македонии и других не участвующих стран! Тем более, на фоне громкого и помпезного оглашения, что россия снова участвует. Из презентации создалось впечатление, что если россия снова с нами, значит все на борту. Не согласен! А по поводу графики - очень слабо. Изображение не несет никакого подтекста. Цепляясь за тему "многообразие" - создали много картинок. В итоге не будет запоминаемости одного логотипа и узнаваемости. Даже ракушку можно было обыграть, по другому изобразить и она несла бы свою философию. Эта раковина - какая-то недо, полу, не понятно почему именно в таком виде.

Logo should’ve been a jellyfish! Maybe that logo is telling us how small the world is and that because of that, we should all be one and the same and unified... in one shell.
I think All Aboard issn't the best option, as is the logo, but it's fine. Also, if the slogan is All Aboard, then why is the trailer about ancient deep sea creatures?
All aboard... oh wait... except FYR Macedonia that didn't pay... and the other countries (Bosnia, Andorra, Luxembourg, Slovakia, Monaco) because its very expensive to participate... That's not all the countries s aboard...
Wish they had hired a narrator who spoke better English. This was hard to understand. "water became abandoned"...does he try to say "abundant"? "Over a "varyen" (?) planet Earth.. "Very young"? Is that what he is trying to say? And "they still leave in mangar(?) oceans"? I can't figure out what he is trying to say.
It's one thing to have a slight accent, that could be charming, but it's another thing to speak so incomprehensible that it's hard to figure out what they person is trying to say. The audience should'nt have to guess. If they hire a narrator, why not just hire someone with a little bit more experience in speaking English, with an accent or not. Yes, it's Eurovison, that's the reason it's important to speak properly, since there are so many people from so many countries listening.

It feels a bit JESC, to be honest! The colours, the design, the phrasing, the fact that there is 12? logos! A bit amateur.. Also we have lost Macedonia! So country overboard then..
