The lyrics, just like the anthem of Spain, are not officially sung. The anthem is only an instrumental. My channel is dedicated to anthems, hymns and patriotic songs, here is the link to our discord server: / discord
Some theories said Basques are the only surviving remnant of Pre-Indo-Europeans (Old European) civilization. They are very old, ancient, and venerable.
Basques, protect your language and your culture. Protect the last european language and its culture! Euskaldunak, babestu zure hizkuntza eta zure kultura. Babestu Europako azken hizkuntza eta bertako kultura!
Last european language? It´s the oldest european language but not the last of them. You talk like if in the whole Continent is not spoken anything but Arabic or Turkish. Maybe very soon but not yet.
@@theethnonationalism3234 It's the only pre Latin spoken language in the Iberian Peninsula and the South of France. That makes a hella of a lot of time.
@@leonardoleo5740 Any official language of any modern European nation state is a native one to that country and thus an european one. With the exception of Turkish in Thracia maybe. Basque is the oldest for sure but not the only one. Greek or Albanian are also isolated european languages while being IE ones.
Os Pinos is excellent would love to hear it on this channel as well, what pictures Ingen would select for the background and even If Galicia's celtic roots are represented at least showing Breogán's statue. Remember to upload it at some point.
I have friend from the Basque country he worked with be before really he is very good and honest person I want to visit him one day in this night country el pays del bascos
That is the map just of 3 of the 7 Basque provinces. There is missing one more in the peninsula (Navarre, our mother State) and 3 more in the continental side under French jurisdiction. Well, that is what happens with occupied and divided nations. The anthem itself was written for the 7 provinces not just 3. And if anyone says that Navarre or Continental Basque Country (Iparralde) is not Basque Country, then you know that person is not Basque ;) Never fails. But because Basque Country is not a state yet the "oficial" anthem it is not considered "final". Half century ago "Gernikako Arbola / The tree of Gernika" was considered our national anthem, and it has a lot of supporters too these days. "Eusko Gudariak / Basque freedom fighters " it's also considered by a lot of people an unofficial anthem... not for being a war song but an anti-fascist song.
Such a beautiful anthem, but not to fond of the history about how they tried to get their independence, Euskal Herria aske da Espainiarekin, ez ETArekin
@antoniogarciasegovia jajjajajajajjajajaja pero q soplapollez es esa? Jajajjajajajjaa .
Your name is literally the contrary of someone who is proud, and your profile picture is a combination of the Swedish flag and the Argentine flag. I am thoroughly bamboozled...
@@Гриб-к1я What's wrong with his username and his profile picture? Both things have literally nothing to do with what he wrote, have you not thought that in addition to having Basque blood, he also has Swedish blood?? Instead of questioning him, you could have thought that. Much easier, right?
@Lodoy. i didn't say there weren't basque people in france, i just said there's nothing as french basque, they're only basque that now officially live in france but if they're true basques, they're not french then... with this i mean they live in france but are not french
Yes, it is beautiful. But don't blame your family for hiding it from you, they have a good reason for doing so. The Basques have been persecuted throughout history, at least within Spain, for different reasons, but above all one reason: the rest of the people of the country did not understand how "some Spaniards did not speak the same as them, nor did they have the same customs", so they made life impossible for the Basques. In France too, not only in Spain, especially at the time of the French Revolution, where the idea of equality was reinforced, including the language and culture of their own, of course. But in Spain, all this reached its peak with Franco's dictatorship, where the entire population of the country had to speak Spanish, and only Spanish, and anyone who was heard speaking Basque (Catalan, Galician, etc.) was imprisoned, sexually abused (especially if they were women), tortured or directly shot. Therefore, many Basques, among others, had to be exiled abroad, as refugees. Although there were also more isolated destinations, such as England or Ireland, the most frequent destinations for these exiles were the Americas (always, at the time when America was discovered as well). And that is why in America, especially in Latin America, you can see many Basque surnames; you will have heard surnames such as: Ochoa ("Otxoa" or "Otsoa", in Basque orthography, translated as "wolf"), Bolívar ("Bolibar", "valley of the mills"), Urrutia ("far away"), Garay ("Garai", something like "high"), and a long etc. (Arrieta, Garmendia...). Of course, not only did this legacy of surnames remain, but also of toponyms (names of places), such as: Durango (a city in Bizkaia, and at the same time a city in Mexico), the former Commonwealth of Nueva Vizcaya (at first it was called "Nueva Galicia", but as that name was given to another territory, they changed it to Nueva Vizcaya, due to the number of Basques who went there, which extended through the states of Chihuahua and Zacatecas today), "Ibarra" in Ecuador, the current city of Constitución, in Chile, which before being called like that, it was called "Nueva Bilbao" (since it was founded by Basques), and a very long etc. Many customs too, such as cesta punta in Florida (I think in Miami), a sport practiced by Basques who went there. And, in honor of that sport, I understand that there is also a party, called "Jai Alai" ("happy party"). And many more that I wouldn't even know, about the Basques and their culture, spread throughout the world. In short, being Basque is a great pride, but the situations throughout history have almost never been favorable for the Basques. Surely they never told you out of fear.
Love Basques from USA! Protect your language. Maite AEBetako euskaldunak! Babestu zure hizkuntza. ¡Amor a Vascos de Estados Unidos! Protegéis vuestra idioma.

The translation is awful. We are very simple people. And the lord of the cross is always ABOVE us. In our tradición he was not cruxified. He is alive with us . We had ETA , AND OUR LORD IS WITH US ALIVE
On top of the tree we have the Lord of the Cross always ABOVE us. Cause he is a good god to us. We are not FUSSY. Very Humble people. The Basque law is different from any other law. The word of a Basque. That was the law. IF I SAY I'll do it, I will. We hate lying
@@max-cm7456 France had ocupied all those lands and force them to become french banishing theyr lenguage from schools, giving better jobs to french people on those places and creating artificial regions to get a french mayority in those places. And thats only in the continental France, if we take a look on hes overseas territory, thinks get even worse, slavery, direct asasinations of native leaders, masive inprisonment of natives, rapes and stolen babys to grow them french and many other crueltys. That why i said, France, frenchs, go home!
this anthem is only for the autonomous basque goverment in Spain, not national anthem (still discussing between basque nationalist sides). And it has lyrics but you put only official version for ceremonies.
