To almost all of these criticisms you have to add “except Tesla, who have got that sorted!” Legacy auto have a BIG problem because they just missed the boat. They didn’t develop the skills needed in time. Tesla and BYD are whipping legacy automakers backsides in terms of technology, charging infrastructure, vehicle weight, vehicle range, cost of manufacture, software sophistication. No wonder the fossil fuel companies and even legacy automakers promote this kind of one-sided “10 reasons why not to buy an EV”. If you have your own home, particularly with solar panels, then what EVs give you is FREEDOM!
Almost sure with the massive amount of technology ever increasing daily _ not surprised if someone got great innovation but because of prior strange circumstances not clear _ but the new ideas got erased and buried _ electric vehicles are not impossible * is the greed the reason why nothing worthy is done 😮

Most of the problems are only in the U.S. Other countries with access to Chinese cars are buying them like hotcakes because the are better and cheaper than anything sold in the U.S. New battery tech is advancing so fast that is hard to keep up with. The new Condenser batteries promise 2000 miles charges in a year or two, they already can deliver 1200 miles. The Seagull from BYD is only 8800 dollars and is top notch, it might be the next "Bug."
