When you get the Honda Clarity, can you test and see if you can precondition the car while it is charging on a 110V? Test the new windshield wipers Honda is talking about? Could you possibly do a walk around the car at night with the lights on? Thanks a lot!! Love the videos.

Dustin Batchelor Actually just purchased the Honda Clarity PHEV, get delivery of it in a few days. I am beyond excited. My boyfriend has a first gen Volt, and I think the Clarity is leaps and bounds better in almost every way. That's just with 5 years differnece in PHEV's. Amazing.
Thanks Jesse for following up! I just finished driving the Clarity and was also extremely impressed. Compared to the 1st generation Volt it definitely has some big time benefits. The interior is beautiful, and the extra space is fantastic. I'm sure you'll love it! Keep me updated with your thoughts about the car once you've had it for a while!

I normally love your videos, but Nissan was wrong to cripple the new leaf. The old leaf beat it in that race in the UK. They should at least have given an option for active cooling (liquid or air). Lithium batteries in liquid cooled Teslas suffer almost no degradation and can rapid charge on demand. Nissan Leaf s suffer significant desegregation and have crippled charging
Hey, it's ok to disagree! :) But honestly, everything you said just kind of proves that Nissan should have enabled charging throttling. Yes, they should have put active cooling in, but without it, and with unrestricted fast charging, these batteries would absolutely fry themselves. I think it's really the only option. I still stand by my opinion that this car would still be an excellent every-day vehicle.
