Someone in Dodge marketing has a real lack of common sense. People who want V8 sound are going to buy a V8, not an EV, and anyone who wants an EV isn't going to want or care about the V8 sound.
I agree, I think the Fiat, Peugeot, Mercedes "Chrysler?" folks that are making 100's of thousands of dollars a year are so far out of touch, the company is going nowhere in my opinion. It's truly sad.

I agree with you 💯 percent!!! I think it’s completely ridiculous what they are trying to do. I also think it’s a very bad business decision to stop production on the Hemi in Challengers and Chargers. I don’t want no stnikin ev I want a real V8. By the way I love your channel!!!
Wha is wrong with a 2dr charger with a modern over head cam 440 all aluminum....and a charger 4dr wagon...all done as a tribute to the classic charger...they would sell millions of them!... Stellantis = Morons!
I wanted a gas powered go kart, I wanted a gas powered RC plane, I wanted a gas powered dirt bike and truck. Now I want a gas powered washing machine like back in the day. If I ever need a power chair, I hope it's gas powered 😂
When they first showed the concept they made the fartzonic exhaust seem like it was the electric motors themselves pulling air through a chamber, which i thought was cool. Nope
I remember watching electric racecars at Winchester Speedway in the 90's. They ran 4 laps and had to pit to get a whole fresh set of batteries to run the other 4 laps. The lack of sound was so weird that it just wasn't exciting enough. These cars were all built by universitys and traveled around running these exhibition races. If only they had that sound thingy. 😕
I agree! And for the new stuff, the new Charger in the 2 door isn't as ugly as some I've seen. But thinking that the "car thrash V8 class" is going to get happy about a tape recorder is ridiculous!!! That is how out of touch they are! Just make it a EV like tesla and forget the noise box. OR.... Put a V8 under the hood and let IT make the noise.

I'm in my mid 50's. Have a '57 D100, '80 Powerwagon.and daily drive a '18 Powerwagon . Zero interest in electric cars. Live in Alberta Canada. The news doesn't cover the fact about stranded motorist, they have to preheat the battery before a charge. It's Canada, major population lives in lower Ontario and Quebec. The rest of us deal with -30C.
My V10 dual side pipes with small 3" mufflers is loud to drive I have to wear earplugs. My Stock Hemi Ram is so nice a quiet that I don't have to let the whole town know Im going to the store LoL 😆🤠
I agree with you 100%. I firmly believe that there is a Major disconnect between the Europeans at Stallantis and us here in the USA. " EV muscle " there is no such thing as that. It's either a muscle car or it ISNT. The Tesla isn't a Muscle Car nore does it pretend to be one! This idea that we're just supposed to be OK with this vehicle that literally trying to pretend to be something it's not is absolutely insane. I look at it the same as a man in a dress and calling him a woman. I dont like that Stillantis owns Dodge. All their brands, cars etc are shit and depreciate like crazy. Another thing that bothers me is the vehicles are built in ' " We will comply Canada " its the perfect combination to lose Hemis. Even the twin turbo i6 is not a muscle car.
I'm very interested in seeing the sales numbers for Dodge. I occasionally drive 500 miles per day. I just don't see an electric vehicle being right for me. I'm happy for anyone to have one that wants one. All car makers should just call it what it is. The customers will decide what they want.
Ive always known that the electic powered vehicle has been around since the 1800s aka buggy . I'm all for advancements BUT not the BS. lack of intelligence = I have to go take my car to the dealership to get my v8 speakers . I mean my v8 soumd chambers fixed so my car doesnt sound like the Men in Black car powering down or starting up 🙄😂😂😂

I'm afraid I was right a couple years ago when I heard Stellantis bought dodge. It will be the nail in the coffin! 😢 It's soo sad but like many major companies they bought it for the name hoping to make alot of money in the north American market, but also like alot of big companies they forget what their customers want or assume they know what their long time customers will want.
I’m not for ev’s either but I think the six pack engine with the twin turbo’s is pretty cool but I’m still for the v8, imagine the old 4.7 v8 with those twin turbo’s I think that would of sold I think the hemi is out the door for the euro reason not the Amero reason

I think they have to be releasing a new v8 next year, there's just no way they wont go bankrupt with no v8 trucks, no challenger and no v8 performance cars. They also made the new charger both ev and gas capable on the assembly line soo..? idk
Car companies just doing what Big Government telling them what to do, lawn mowers, leaf blowers, snow blowers, appliances, etc. 4 years ago we had a choice, now we don't. It's a global push.
But the sound box is not political, it's the choice Dodge (stallantis) made on their own believing the "Hemi" crowd would be appeased. It shows the disconnect that they have with their muscle car base. Ford still makes a V8 supercharged Mustang.

Ain't gonna knock it till I try it. I have take a few rides in Teslas, actually they are pretty fun. I would hope there is an off switch for the speakers. I drive an ebody in the summer. I have also kept another blasphemy Mopar, a K car dodge Daytona Shelby. They are both fun in different ways. I could see me buying the inline six version of this charger in a couple years. I would bet they will make a hybrid version that will run with the hellcats.
It's just plain stupid. They can call it what they want it's still a stupid speakers system making fake noise. It might be a Dodge but it's not my type anymore
From the Mopar Folks to the NewPar folks.. Even if, Most NewPar Owners are clueless to the History, Heritage of the Company, HEMI, SCAT PACK, even the Logo is the same as the Late 60s.. Red M, became blue, 392 badge, all have "Direct Connections" to the Proud History of Mopar... Between the two Devoted Factions, classic and modern... At least you can say, We shared the performance Driven "bug" ... This, decision and it's timing, EV push has been backed off, from Lack of sales... The Sound effects, gemic....
