How is that Brawler any different than the 4150s and 4160s and other Holleys I built over the years? I used to have barrels of holley parts that I got from a scrapyard when Ford RMP junked a bunch of stuff one time. Wish I had them now
Maybe you can help me.. I need a rear brake drum for my 68 d300. It's a dually but I don't know if that matters. Do you know of any salvage places that specialize in early parts? Thank you

update I think you hit your goals. I agree about the rabbit tracks and I have a B body 8/34 with the spring re-locator in my scamp 373 gear not highway friendly with the 440 and 727, and I would love a 323 gear or even 294 Tim, love the duster buddy, God bless

Thank you for proving what most of us know ..that post 71 low compression "smog" motors don't require mega race rebuilds to make muscle level performance. Love pre 72 stuff but too many zealots dismiss all else. Two thumbs up.
Congratulations! What a way to put the 318 out to pasture! Going out on a win. I'm about to pull my 318 out of my duster. I'm not entirely sure what will be replacing it.
I was given an old ‘77 cast 318 engine, it needs to be rebuilt, it had probably 5-6 gallons of rainwater in it. But it does turn over freely. I want to build it pretty much exactly like you have yours, completely stock, little head work, maybe a cam.
Congrats on your win and you talk about a tough competitor, I wouldn't want to race you for any amount of money because you are very hard to beat especially running such a simple setup. Low dollar budget 318 is what im working with now. You are a hero among us little folk. If i won a trophy i would hang it around my neck a wear it lol.
