She would fit perfectly. She also knows how to be offensive in her roles without beeing gross. An extremly rare qualitiy I think. But Anya Chalotra did a good job too. I dont want to diss her at all. Its a harder role than one might think.
@@countblue its a problem of the script more than Anya's There are parts where she acts as a little brat....shes a 100 year old mage please. And thats on the writing not on the acting
i get what you're saying about Eva's classiness. But tbh i've seen most of her work and i doubt she has the same acting chops as Anya does. Anya does come off as a more bratty yennefer because of her demeanor but i think the creators hit the jackpot w Anya's talent.
Sorry, but she was actually not in Underworld: Blood Wars; that was Lara Pulver. It’s weird though, bc while I was watching this interview I was thinking, “Wow, she looks a lot like Lara Pulver.” So I can understand the mix up. They really could play sisters; even play twins. I didn’t realize how close they look. I almost even replied with: “Oh yeah, she was in that-“ but did a big mental backflip with, “Wait a minute!” Lol. So I seriously can empathize with the confusion.
@@austentrue7807 oh right, my mistake, haven't watched it since it came out, it was a massive let down compared to the others. They do look very similar though.
Omar KD you know just last night before falling asleep, I was thinking of her tits, and for the first time I liked tits... hm,... finally I have matured
You could think she's this incredibly self-confident and outgoing woman with no taboos by the way she is always depicted in films, but you can see here she's actually the opposite in real life. It is amazing how she manages to get rid of her shy personality, turn into an intimidating femme fatale and look this appealing and natural. What a fantastic actress!
I love Eva Green as an actress and I love seeing her out of character and laughing! Not a lot of actresses can pull off the roles she plays with poise and elegance.
I love how Eva always bring such seriousness and coldness to her caracters, its like her brand, her mark on her parts. But in real life she is so sweet and kind, its really amazing the deepth she gives to her parts.
Truly a captivating woman. Such an amazing mix of sophisticated, sultry, intelligent, mysterious, and playful with some femme fatale energy thrown in for good measure.
I feel that Eva is very intelligent and down to earth .... beautiful eyes!! First time I ever seen her was in that movie 300 and I became infatuated with her. Good actress also ....
I thought she explained it really well. And I think art shouldn’t have to be restrained to be kept age appropriate. As long as the nudity is tied to the character and the story and done with taste and style it shouldn’t be a problem.
If the rating system are based on how the nudity are done with "taste" and tied to the story & character, how do you determine/measure which movie were done with such standard. How do you standardized the ratings? Age based rating system is important. Sex, nudity and violence need to be restricted from certain age groups, regardless whether they were done with taste and style. Otherwise they will be exposed to similar cheap trash scenes. As bad as those films may be, making bad trashy movies are protected by the first amendment. They are part of free speech. Mind you that studios want their film to be more child friendly, not for the sake of the children's well being. They're doing it to reach broader audience aka making more money.
@@aabidamn You cannot treat all sex, nudity and violence equally. Each case should be evaluated separately. Some might deserve a restrictive rating and other could be completely harmless. Take nudity for example. It can be sexual, but it can also be completely non-sexual which shouldn't have any restrictions at all and it's the raters' responsibility to determine which is which. The problem is that the MPAA seem too lazy to do it and prefer to put all the nudity into the sexual category which leads to some ridiculously harsh ratings given to basically family-friendly films. I will always remember a British period drama called I Capture the Castle which is a PG film by all accounts and that's its rating in the UK but it was shockingly given an R by the MPAA just for a a brief topless shot in a non-sexual scene. It very clearly demonstrates how fucked up that system is.
This woman is amazing. Eva Green she is really talented and intelligent. Her culture is powerful. She reply very well to the question about nudity on movies...Why think about a "problem" when you are part of a Caravaggio's painting..or a Canova's sculpture..or in a Bertolucci's movie? A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN&ACTRESS FOR BEAUTIFUL MOVIE MASTERPIECES. That' all.
Amir Asyraf ...because she talkin' about Art and she was "a part" of a Masterpiece: a Master Bertolucci's movie. Is the same thing if she was in a Great Painting or Sculpture..she can be part of the colors in a beautiful painting, she can be a piece of marble or bronze of a magnificent Cellini's sculpture..
I know a lot of people are just praising her because she's attractive but in all seriousness she is talented AF. She is gorgeous, no argument, but she is an amazing actress. I have never been more engaged in a show than I was with her performance in penny dreadful. If she's using her appearance to climb to fame l, let her.
She isn't beautiful though lmao. At least she doesn't fit conventional standards of beauty because of her disproportionately large forehead, droopy and oversized hooded eyes, rather prominent nose, wide mouth and gaunt face. Of course beauty is in the end subjective and it's okay if she appeals to some people's personal preferences but she isn't beautiful enough to be using her appearance for anything.
Hollywood never used her to full potential she have great screen presence...she should be working with ppl like Hopkins caprio or Daniel day Lewis..she is such talent...
The first movie I saw her in was, The Dreamers. What a beautiful and strong performance. Somehow, it seems like most, if not all, the actresses who do most nudity on screen, are in fact most shy and 'natural', confident off screen.

Ella es una Diosa; su acento al hablar inglés es exquisito y ni qué decir de su apariencia, con esos anillos y toda la clase desbordante. Maravillosa. ☺

"You can't please everyone," best lesson I learned from this interview. Just because you can't please everyone, doesn't mean you're wrong. Oh and...boobs kill, but people are apparently more afraid of them than they are with hand guns.
@@si_w8201 Boobs don't kill people. Bad people with boobs kill people, which is why we need more access to boobs, because the only thing that will stop a bad...uhh...person with boobs is a good person with boobs!
