tho i have no idea what the ensemble is singing during the kiss, i wish they didn’t cut it out. it sounds so full and when i saw it other than like two screams bc of ofc the action, it felt like nothing else was going on. love this show soooo much tho

I’m not going to judge the whole show based on this one song. Cause I think this is a good song. However. I cannot lie and say I’m not slightly disappointed by the fact it’s not stylistically in the vain of a show like Anything Goes or other shows of that period. But it’s got potential. Just hoping they do my boy Nick justice. He’s a great character

Tha book: delulu man creates a show for a woman who’s personality doesn’t exist anymore, question of choice in capitalistic society, woman who cares only about her happiness The musical (hope it’ll get deeper meaning in full version): UwU romantic man gives her everything she dreamed of Still performers are amazing want more of jazzy style but still it’s expected tone of music from this segment of musical

Obviously they’re both super talented but let’s not ignore the 11-year age gap between the actors.
