When I was 17, my older sister and her lover moved to Hasbrook Heights. I loved staying over night at their apartment, that meant we were going to see their neighbor, Jimmy Lane perform. He was a female impersonator. It also meant that after the show, he would make breakfast at his apartment and dress me up in his closet. I learned campy realness in that closet ! I loved him so much. Evah reminds me of him (her). So many great memories with such a super talented person. Evah, I will be looking for you when you come to Jersey.....Bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is probably my favorite performance by her. Everything about this is on point. The stage enormous amount of stage presence, the way she painted herself, the black dress that disapears in the dark room and the only way to see it is when it shimmers, the tight lip syncing... just brilliant. ;_;
