Both of them got crazy busy schedules and Evan went back to A&M today. I wanna get more of them hanging out sometime, but this is the best I can do for now😭😭 def more videos with them in the future❤️
Both great receiver prospects. Evan definitely has the upper hand at this point given he’s a much better route runner but he’s also a year more advanced. S/O Coach Hooks
@@RyanGPearson2016 That’s what happens when you have a newly starting QB, then that QB has his spot taken by another, who then proceeds to break his thumb on his throwing hand. All while having the best RB in the country
Great video Jake! They're both talented dudes. I wanted Stewart at UT. instead we're getting the 2023 Dog in Cook. Hook 'Em! Best of luck to both of them and God bless 🙏🤘
I just don’t see Stewart sticking around at aggie. I mean he’s gonna be SO underutilized. Not saying he’s coming to Austin, but no way he spends his 3+ years in aggie land
Stewart would be such a good fit with Sark. Not sure what steered him to Jimbo early 2000s offense but I'll be keeping an eye how they utilize Stewart. If the QBs struggle, he gonna be gone.
Because A&M signed the #1 pocket passer in the nation last year, 5 star, Connor Weigman. And, A&M also has the #1 dual threat, 4 star, Haynes King. And, now, A&M has the 4 star transfer from LSU, Max Johnson, with SEC experience. So, the Aggies do have a room full of talented QBs to get Stewart the ball.
@@richardwalker4903 bruh you know Jimbo features the RBs and TEs. If Stewart doesn't get a bigger share of targets this year than their wide outs last year while Sark's offense lights it up, then we'll see what happens.
@@robh_tex I hear ya. It's all good. But, remember.....Jimbo is a QB coach also. He acquired a QB that was mediocre, at best, and made him into a NFL draft prospect. Last season, the starting QB got injured in the second game. And, something else, A&M hasn't really had a deep threat to throw to. Regardless, it will be interesting to see what both of these programs do in the next 5 years. I doubt that it will be the same as they did in the last 5 😉
@@user-fs5hc9su5m I think evans has the better route running ability rn and hands might be tied except that dropped evan had, but I believe cook will be the best out of the 2
I'm interested to see who will end up having a better college career. Right now I'd say Evan is slightly better only because he's faster. Johntay looks stronger/more physical so I feel like he'd be better at blocking. Glad we were able to see them train together.
@@shakurj Johntay beat him bc Evan was just off. Look at Evan's track times and Johntay's.... Evan EASILY could've gone D1 for track and was a state champ as a junior
@@marcelstewart4076 lol whatever excuse you want to make cool.. But when they raced in this video he lost not 1 but 2 times.. And he said in this video he ran a 21.9 in the 200 that's not a D1 time lol.. And what race was he a state champion in? Because I follow all of Texas high school sports and he wasn't a state champion in anything in track and field
That coach with the glasses he was my middle school football coach at T. C. marsh middle school he was also my history teacher as well he was a great dude! Great mentor we were undefeated in district play. He played for the dolphins and a couple of other teams! Great coach!
They look almost dead even racing for the first 30-40yrds! Looks like Cook has better routes right now but Stewart has more quickness. Which one is gonna be able to block better? Gotta be able to do everything if you’re gonna be an All-American/NFL caliber player! Who has the better work ethic? I think they both are gonna be successful players but will they both be STARS in college!? Keep working hard and don’t get involved with the extracurricular activities at college. The partying is NOT good for your football career so keep that to a minimum! Surround yourself with other friends/players who work hard in the gym and are practicing their craft often. Don’t allow bad influences to pull you away from the things you need to do to be successful in your football careers! Listen to your coaches, they know what’s best for you most likely. Whatever work you put into being a superstar on the field is what you’re gonna get out of it. Do something everyday to get better whether that’s going to practice, running routes, lifting weights, studying film, eating clean foods, etc. I’m a big Bama fan and ALL of our elite receivers that have went on to the NFL were hardworking, professional acting types of athletes who took their craft very seriously because they knew what was at risk! DeVonte Smith was one of the most hardworking players on the team and he won a Heisman, now he’s one of the best receivers in the league IMO. Still getting better too because of his work ethic.
And then when it comes to actually playing football, y’all go right back to being worse than mediocre. Texas Longhorns - Off-season Workout Champions 2022
johntay underrated asf if he’s making evan say all of these excuses, and evan was #3 in the nation in his class. his goofy ass laugh is annoying asf btw😭
@@andyhastings4020 demas wasn’t good straight up. He been in the transfer portal since the beginning of spring ball and still don’t have a team. He relies way to much on athleticism
@@landongest8364 yeah..I just never seen Jimbos offenses as Elite..scheme wise..He had a good run with Winston ...but that wasn't scheme... I would bet Texas Passing game would be much more explosive...imo..Demas isn't the only receiver to have basically no numbers in Jimbos scheme since he has been at A&M
what I’ve seen of A&M in the SEC they shouldn’t be in the SEC they’re in the toilet bowl Evan come on over to the bright side you’re gonna have two top shelf quarterbacks at Texas. One of them is going to be spectacular.
Texas threw the ball 43% of the time playing from behind most of their season. A&M threw the ball 49% of the time winning twice as many games as they lost with the backup quarterback in the SEC. Someones been feeding Johntay bullshit.
