This was the hardest to make work as the instrumentals in both were of a very different volume and the timings weren't the same. I had to adjust a lot just to get them to allign. In my headset however I do hear them both properly so maybe it just depends on what device or headset we listen to this video? Also... in the original video there is that pause that Dan doesn't have in his. Very hard to get it to sound ok there :P
I bet. It sounds great, it was just Amy was a little low for me. I do like these videos though. The other I watched with Nightwish was spot on. But they had similar versions whereas Dan's was rather different from Evanescence (just a little!) I preferred Dan's even though I loved the original. But you did a great job. I didn't think about instrumentals.
I agree with you. I can’t even hear Amy. I think Vikingreacts is using her in the visuals more than her voice. Still, I enjoyed this. Many thanks for reacting to this one!
VikingReacts has a man crush, self-admitted, on Dan Vasc. I think he did this to showcase Dan's vocal skills & add the visuals from Amy Lee's version. Dan's voice is too powerful for hers to be heard well. I watched the comparison video of Dan Vasc & Geoff Castellucci also. I hope you do more of Dan, Geoff, & VoicePlay. I didn't like this mashup, because Dan sings the whole song together with Amy and it seems in the video that only she sings, not showing Dan together, because he alone does all the voices in the song. review the video of him alone, to get a better idea of his vocal ability. tks
