@GUDA1411995 That's why she wrote the song, "Snow White Queen," with Terry Balismo, the bass guitairist on this album who co-wrote the songs and halfway composed it with her.
@Boddahism I don't know what you mean by the reply, the songs that Amy Lee writes are about past experiences/how she is feeling at the moment/stuff that means something to her and Ben Moody tends to base his work on short stories. Maybe we are confusing two different songs called sweet sacrifice but the one that I am talking about (which I have evidence to back up if you want to see it) is the evanescence song about overcoming fear inspired by an abusive relationship Amy Lee was in.
@GUDA1411995 Yes. And he was actually the brawns. The brainiacs for the crime against Amy was Mary Mary, a Black-American Gospel Artist made of two sisters, Erica and Tina Campbell, who were the reason why Amy wrote the song, "Whisper," on the first album they made and on the second album, she dissed them by writing the song, "Sweet Sacrifice," on this one.
@blarg2429 ...also, it was written, before/at the time she sued her manager and at the very latest like, two weeks after. I'm no expert but I doubt two weeks after is enough to get over it and then write a song about it, and if it was written before then it would be impossible to have been about something that hasn't happened yet. Any way, she said in an interview that it was about being stalked by some obsessed fan.
@bambidollette ...like that, I havn't heard the song but that was about sexual abuse as a child. I think it attracted a lot of media attention because people mistaked it as Jon's dad being a peadophile or something like that when it was actually him being ignored by his parents when he told them about it, something like that. But you are right, it's amazing how many artists will release/perform a really personal song then not like to talk about it, and I suppose it is because music is an...
@GUDA1411995 However, I am in deep motivation by Amy Lee's type of originality by how she also sarcastically dissed, "The Wizard of Oz," Mariah Carey as Billie Frank in the, "Glitter," Soundtrack, Eminem as Rabbit in, "8 Mile," and Beyonce [in the video called, "Everybody's Fool"]! She didn't diss the whole scene, but she did diss the characters of those movies and Beyonce's reputation [since Beyonce's Main Master is the Late Great Judy Garland, which made her resemble a costume her mom made].
@ilovenelena16 the song is in english but our comments are greek (not pure greek...they are greek words with english letters,we use it only on the internet and it's called greeklish =greek+english :)
@RionaCZ The information of Amy Lee's rape by her manager is from her Wikipedia page while on Evanescence's website, the information of how and why the songs were written ["Whisper," on the, "Fallen," album and, "Sweet Sacrifice," on, "The Open Door," album] are based on the cover inside. And Mary Mary's RU-vid page is MaryMaryVEVO [which you can also look] while in the video, "Everybody's Fool," she mocks Mariah Carey, Eminem, Beyonce and a few other artists.
@mariusip22 This song actually was about a man who was raping her after stalking her, yet he was only the man who did the deed and that he wanted her [Amy] to shut up or else she'll be ended up worse than ever.
@GUDA1411995 I was telling @Ilove13Ev that she barely has the information to back up anything of what happened, what happens now and/or what will happen around Amy Lee's life, along with the other Evanescence members.
@SonicSupremeSGT3 wtf? She was not raped by her manager, yes she was sexually assaulted but that wasn't serious, I heard that he rubbed her leg or something like that, You don't file a lawsuit for rape, that is a criminal offence. And since when has whisper been about rape?! As for Sweet Sacrifice that was inspired by an abusive relationship but the actual song is about learning to overcome fear. Amy Lee's lyrics are intimate, but no-one would publicly admit in a song to being raped.
She wrote that song because her manager conspired to rape her by hooking her up with the soloist of Seether. But it didn't work, so he tried to make advances onto her himself. To this day, she pressed charges and the charges dropped because the jury [made up of crooked Gospel Music types and so on] claimed of him as, "not guilty".
@blarg2429 Right okay, I'm wrong, I posted that like ages ago, It didn't come accross how I meant it, I meant she probably wouldn't sing it live if she was raped. She doesn't sing, 'Like You', or 'Hello,' live so if it was about that I doubt she would have sung it live. Even then, it doesn't mean her manager raped her. She sued him for sexual harrassment, it would have been scary, but if it was traumatising and really serious then it would have gone to the criminal law courts...
@Kitsoumai -I don't know about the other guys, but I am not a native english speaker... -well,if you are talking about the first comments on this video, they are not in english...
@GUDA1411995 And Evanescence was supposed to perform at my city, Richmond, Virginia, but instead, my city's mayor at the time, along with the crooked Black people who are stuck-up, banned them after belittling Amy and the rest of the band due to her composing and the lyrics she and Ben Moody wrote together.
@SonicSupremeSGT3 All I have to say it that might just be a story someone made up.You can't believe everything you read or hear because people make things up for money or attention.
@bambidollette ...outlet of your deepest emotions, it's a release, so yeah, I suppose I was wrong on that part but I still don't believe Amy Lee was raped, I doubt raped women would file a lawsuit for a leg being rubbed. If that happened to me I would be scared as hell but if such a serious crime like rape happened I assume that would seem either extremely worse then if you hadn't been raped before or not much at all compared to past abuse either way it = no lawsuit. But as I said I'm no expert.
@12345ISIS12345 All very good points. But I didn't say what I said to start an argument or join one or whatever (the information you presented me with was certainly interesting, on the other hand).
