MY God I felt this praise through the computer, nothing like old school church, praise him until the fiya falls and you get what you need from God. this is how I grew up, church is do different now, we lost something.!!!!

The Church of God in Christ is a Pentecostal-Holiness Church. Started as a Holiness denomination in 1897 under the leadership of Elder C.H.Mason that accepted the Pentecostal doctrine of the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tongues in 1907 at the Azusa Revival under W.J. Seymour. We are Pentecostals and Holiness as well, just as MOST Pentecostal churches embrace both. Our doctrine is apart of Pentecostalism. Thus being the largest Pentecostal denomination in the USA
Uhh sir... I love the Grand Old Church, I'm proudly a part of the COGIC (born and raised) and I agree with 90% of this statement but 'the COGIC shall reign' is a bit much. God shall reign, not the COGIC. The only reason that our church is anything is because of the Holy Ghost and His sanctifying power that has made our church great, not our own merit, as it is stated in the Word our righteousness is as filthy rags to Him, so even in holiness, God is still greater. But other than that INDEED!!
The women. Sitting next to the pastors are wives. The women in white habits are missionaries and evangelist. The people in regular white clothes are the choir members.We sit on the floor when we aren't ministering.
Help me understand domething. Why are these called "praise breaks" when all they do is stand there looking around? Every once in a while someone will actually praise God, but mostly it's the musicians getting sweaty from playing shoutin' music. I'm just sayin'...
