Evap Leak Testing Made Simple
In this video I will explain how Evap works and how to simplify it. Evap codes are very common and honestly one of the most misdiagnosed systems on the vehicle. This system is also the most common to have major parts cannons loaded with no idea how to really test it. Some vehicles have very simple evap systems and some are very complicated. I will help you figure out how to make this a simple process and how to determine if you actually have a leak or not. Let's get going so we can get this figured out.

Back in the day we didn't have a bunch of useless crap covering a motor tat required paying a mechanic $140.00 dollars an hour to find an evap leak and nobody i know has the equipment you have to do it themselves. I appreciate the video but I'm thinking this is more suited to other mechanics not your average backyard tinkerer. By the way I should be getting my computer back soon for my OBS Chevy minus the evap, egr, cats, downstream O2 sensors and more. All the best to you and your crew

I agree 20 years ago evap testing was a lot less complicated. we had a simple smoke machine and worked just fine. The smoke machine in the video is just a normal evap smoke machine but has a turbo testing side so that is the difference. this is not directed at the backyard tinkerer.
